The test drive process was nice. Asked a bunch of questions to guarantee I was happy with vehicle. Went to the dealership to view 2 cars, a 2019 and 2016 model. The 2016 model was at another location so I could only view the 2019. It is a nice car and he assured me he could get me the newer model in my budget. I agreed to the newer model then. The process went downhill from there, it was good up until then. I arrived at the dealership at 3:15 and didn’t leave until after 8. As I waited I was periodically told there was good news and my credit score was a lot better than the last time I purchased my car. Every time he told me he had good news the price went up more and more monthly. By that point I was already there 3 hours and was disgruntled about the price and time but felt obligated to commit. At one point I had to leave for 15 min to grab my work computer and they tried to get me to take to car, I felt like they were pressuring me to ensure I return to purchase the car which bothered me. I purchased mt last car with a loan in 1/3rd of the time I was at this place. It ended up being over $100 over my monthly budget which then prevented me from feeling comfortable adding extra coverage to my car, like I did with my last vehicle. I was test driving vehicles for a few weeks, many other places offered me $500-$900 for my broken vehicle trade in and offered to tow it. This place only gave me $100 and I have to pay them to tow it in after I clean it out today which will prolly cost more than the $100 I recieved for the car. Also wish I found another way to get rid of my car than trading it in through them. I left the dealership very unhappy and was up all night wishing I just canceled it and didn’t go back when I went home earlier. The vehicle is way over my budget and I wasn’t able to afford extended warranty coverage, which I’m especially annoyed about considering what I just went through with my previous car breaking down while I was still paying on it. Had a very unfortunate, very regrettable experience. More
