Mike went above his job by driving down to Maryland and ensuring we'd have our new truck the day after striking a deal. What made our experience lack at Heritage, was the judgement we felt upon looking at ensuring we'd have our new truck the day after striking a deal. What made our experience lack at Heritage, was the judgement we felt upon looking at our truck. We felt as though we were judged based off our age and what typical mid 20's people could afford. We were attempted to be down-sold to a much cheaper vehicle that wasn't at all what we wanted. They gave us a monthly payment estimate that was based off a credit rate comparable to what our salesman thought based off a gut feeling due to "20 years experience in this business". Only after "the closer" came to talk with us, did they run a credit check to see we both had excellent credit and were approved for a 0% interest loan. The finance manager was pushy and used fear tactics and targeting to try and upsell the BS extended warranty, ceramic coating, and pre pay for all service through the life of the loan. At the end of the day, we got a good deal on our truck and have no complaints there. With my experience in sales and marketing, the way they conduct business is old school and no longer flies in the world we live in. Mike went the extra mile with us to get us the truck we wanted, but he still judged us initially. Overall, I don't think I'd recommend this dealership to anyone barring any change in their internal business processes. More
