When I asked, was given the run around by Chris and Max. They wanted to run my credit before I had decided what kind of car I interested in to buy. Also in trying to run my credit, was not told cost of car. Change amount on the car once they knew I had knowledge in purchasing a car. Bottom line poor service and tried to run a scam. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! More
Worst customer service scam I’ve ever been involved in I went into bel air Honda to look at the 2018 civic hatchbacks. The first time I went to the dealership no one asked me if I needed help and pretty mu I went into bel air Honda to look at the 2018 civic hatchbacks. The first time I went to the dealership no one asked me if I needed help and pretty much everyone ignored me. The second time I went in I went directly inside and asked to test drive the specific car that I wanted. The man at the door took me around to four different people that would not help me before we settled on one man that didn’t exactly seem thrilled to help me. He hardly talked to me the whole time, I was asking a few questions about one of the other trim levels of the car and he made me feel stupid with every question. He condescendingly described what CVT means when I already know what it means. I told him that I did want to buy the car and that is when he finally showed a little interest. I told him that I wanted to sleep on it and I left because I was upset about how I felt like I was being treated just because I was a young woman. The next week he called me twice asking how he could help further with the civic so I decided to go ahead and give them another chance. I called him back on Black Friday and made an offer. He offered to call me back the next morning as soon as they opened and give me an answer. I explained because I work all the time I don’t have time to come in to the dealership unless I already have agreed on a price. He never called me back. A few days later I got a call from the same dealership but another salesman trying to help me. I was so upset I told them I wasn’t willing to negotiate with them anymore and that the price I said what all I would pay and that if that wasn’t enough I would go somewhere else. I also explained to this man that I would not come in unless the number I said was confirmed. He texted me back confirming my number so I went to the dealership. When I walked in I was sent to the original salesman that had given me the bad taste. He confirmed my number again got the keys to the car out and set them in front of me and proceeded to do my credit check. After about an hour and a half he brings out a paper explaining the fees and the net price on the paper is $5,000 more that the price we agreed on. Instead of walking out right there, I told him that this is not the number I agreed on. He tried to basically pull one over on me and subtract a few things from the number, so he got to my number, and then add them back in the end. So the final price with fees was actually $7,000 more that I’d agreed on. They waisted my time for 2 hours after I told them how upset I was with my experience in that dealership the first three times. I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me because I’m a woman and I went in by myself. He kept asking if I wanted to call my dad to come down or if he would co-sign with me when I do not need a co-signer. I’m very unhappy with my experience and all of the people involved. No woman should ever buy a car from this place. More

Quick, easy, and handful of quality information So this was my first time buying a brand new car by myself. I walked in very intimidated by horror stories of pushy salesmen and getting taken advanta So this was my first time buying a brand new car by myself. I walked in very intimidated by horror stories of pushy salesmen and getting taken advantage of. I walked into Bel Air Honda and Jaque Brown greeted me right away and showed me to his desk. I told him I'm looking to expand my family next year and need a bigger sedan. I told him I was very interested in the Honda Accord but might have to settle for the Civic depending on pricing. He was very open and understanding to my needs and wants. We reviewed the Accord first: test driving, all the car options that came with it, and then the numbers. We did the very same for the civic. I was totally impressed with the Accord even though it was out of my price range. Jaque completely understood and said it would be possible for me to get in this car today and he would have his Manager come over and introduce himself. I met Chris and he wanted to make sure my experience with top notch and that I felt good about today's outing. I told him I wanted that Accord that so bad and he said he would get things in order so that Jaque and I could get me in this car. Within 2 hours I got a call back that my trade in was worth more and that they could take a little off the top for me and got me under my required monthly payment!!! I was ecstatic! I returned to the dealership within an hour and we got the paper work process started right away. That part is always long but everything went very smoothly and i was NOT bombarded with up sales and extras. I was clearly explained what packages were included and what was being offered. After I declined, it was only explained one more time to just confirm that I knew what I was declining. I could've probably left sooner but ever member of that team was so easy to get along with I couldn't help but laugh and make a few jokes. I will absolutely be telling my friends about my experience at this Honda dealership and directing everyone I can, their way. Thank you for the great experience. More
