Not what we were interested in. When we had enough waiting for two hours of running around and not answering our request of what our trade is worth, we were ready to walk out. They were holding our keys behind the counter and when we asked what the car was worth, they gave us way below what KBB would have offered. We have bought three cars from here and will not be buying cars from here again. Went across the street and found a beautiful 4 year old car and below average miles. Gave us more on our trade in, put money down and left with a certified preowned car that day. More
shady and untrustworthy. Avoid this dealership. I called to inquire about a used VW GTI they had just posted for sale on cars.com. I told them I was considering driving 1.5 hours from VA to look at I called to inquire about a used VW GTI they had just posted for sale on cars.com. I told them I was considering driving 1.5 hours from VA to look at it if was in good condition (the listing price of $6100 was above the kbb very good condition value). Sales rep told me it was in great condition, clean, well maintained and drove well. When I arrived to look at it, in less than 3 minutes I observed: the car needed new engine mounts, needed new headlight lenses, dipstick handle for oil was broken off/missing, something else under the hood had broken and there were shattered pieces everywhere, brake fluid was old/dirty, serious wear and tear on all interior items like shifter, door panels (far worse than I've seen on older cars with more mileage), window tint was bubbling (this was the one thing they said they would fix) and there was a ticking / possible valve noise which hinted at a potentially very expensive repair. I jokingly offered $3000 and without hesitation they were willing to along with that - which told me how bad of shape this car really was in. They also at one point assured me they had placed an order with the service dept. for $2500 worth of work to be done on the car but later backed away from that claim when I asked to see it the paperwork/service request. I walked away without even test-driving the car and recommend you stay away from this dealership. Very dishonest and untrustworthy sales rep and manager. More
Awesome dealing with Maria Smalls for used car purchase I was reluctant to buy a used car from a dealership and very nervous at the prospect of walking on a lot and being approached by salespeople. We were in the market for a used car with low mileage, single owner, clean car fax, and most difficult of all below $12,000. I just knew that my expectations would be impossible to meet and that I would be pushed into upgrading my search to a higher price range. After prompting by my husband and the desperate need for a car for our son we set out on our search. We were approached by Maria Smalls and she probably sensed my skittishness but she was patient and not at all pushy. We talked about a few cars on the lot and then went in and sat at her desk. She pulled up cars on her computer and reviewed them with us. One appeared to be good but when we got in we could smell cigarette smoke. "Add one more thing to my almost impossible search......It can not smell like smoke". Maria offered to have the detail department do their best to take care of it. However I was having no parts of that. She understood, and took us back in to search more. There were cars at different locations and she offered to have them brought to us. She called those locations to check on availability of cars too! She came across a car that we were not considering. It was a Nissan Altima (we were primarily looking at Honda's and Toyota's). This car was a fantastic price, incredibly clean, less than our price point, and drop dead gorgeous. We took it for a test drive and it exceeded our expectations. Maria made this a great experience!!! We are extremely happy and love the car. I waited a little while to write this to make sure we had no surprises once we took possession of the vehicle. The only bad thing I can say is that now I'm in love with the car, and don't want to turn it over to my son to drive. All in All I'd say that is a great problem to have. Thanks Maria!!!
