The Acura MDX was our first choice in a new crossover. Hertrich Acura was very cooperative about setting up a test drive, but the reindeer games began right after that. I detailed to the sales rep PRECISELY the model, color, and equipment we wanted. He verified that no such vehicle was in inventory at that time. Then he asked, "So . . . what will it take to get you to sign and drive something off the lot today?" When I told him, flatly, "Nothing," he left us cooling our heels for an extended period. Then he returned, bringing the sales manager. The SM introduced himself, shook hands, and then asked, "So . . . what will it take to get you to sign and drive something off the lot today?" I wanted to ask him what it would take to get him and his minions to stop this nonsense and concentrate on what WE wanted. I again detailed our chosen vehicle, and asked for a price. We were promised a price in ten minutes, then twenty, then thirty. Finally we had to leave, but we were promised that someone would email us with a price/offer. It never came. Over the next six weeks, once or twice per week the salesman called us asking us if we were ready to buy. On each occasion I reminded him of the price I was waiting for. Each time he seemed surprised that his finance manager had not yet contacted me, then promised a phone call from the FM by the close of business. Not once did we see a price. This dealership is full of slicky-boys and hustlers concerned only with moving inventory at the expense of the customer's needs. Whil we will consider an Acura in the future, we will never consider Hertrich. Don't waste your time. Complete non-recommend. More
