Honda CPO purchase I recently purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Honda CR-V from Hillside Honda. The vehicle is a 2014 CR-V with 6K miles! Practically brand new. The ent I recently purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Honda CR-V from Hillside Honda. The vehicle is a 2014 CR-V with 6K miles! Practically brand new. The entire purchasing process from the time I got to the location was very pleasant. I was immediately assisted by a sales person, Moe, who was very knowledgeable in all of the details of CPO sales, the warranty, the manufacturer checks of the vehicle, as well as the purchasing process. He asked all the right questions for what I was looking for and provided useful answers to all my questions. He even gave me helped me get my newly purchased car home after the sale. All the personnel at the Honda used car lot were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I never felt at any time that information was being misrepresented or withheld. It was a very smooth purchase experience. More

Bait and Switch I started my communications with this dealership through internet sales. The associate helping me had given me a reasonable price so I made an appoin I started my communications with this dealership through internet sales. The associate helping me had given me a reasonable price so I made an appointment to go to the dealership to buy the car. The associate told me to ask for HIM when I arrived. In fact, he even wrote an email stating that if he is running late, he would call me. When I arrived, he was not there and I was told to have a seat to wait for him. A sales guy was milling about and told me he would help me. I told him I was waiting for the internet sales associate. He said he could get me started. This guy never even introduced himself and led me to believe he was just helping out until the internet sales guy arrived. However, he was apparently the salesman that would be working with me. I realized this only when I had been there for close to an hour and he started to fill out a sales form with a price. It was more than $1700 above the price that had been emailed to me. I also had them evaluate my current Honda for a trade-in. I had called ahead of time to ask if they could pull up my payoff info since I had financed (and paid off) my current car with Honda Finance and would need that letter to transfer the title on a trade. I was told no problem at all. Of course, when I'm there and ask unknown sales guy to pull it up for me, he twiddled his thumbs for a few minutes, hit some keys on his computer, and then reported that it was not coming up. Finally, the trade-in value they tried to give me was absurdly low as I have had it evaluated elsewhere for about $2,000 more than their offer. Total waste of time. Buy elsewhere. More
