One manager, i believe it was Billy, was a complete jerk and I walked out of the office. This is unprofessional and eventually required a call from the dealership GM and the deal was made with a price in line with what I wanted. This kind of nonsensical behavior no one should go through and makes buying a car not a great experience. I would not recommend this dealership for this reason that that initial manager should be fired. I really am not happy about the car either - because of the dealings, I am not very excited to drive it (I drove it today to work) and I could care less about it. Now I'm thinking I made the wrong decision. Note that I've used Hoffman for their emissions service and those representatives have been great. This is the first 'American' brand car I've purchased since 2000 and now I have another reason to not use these brands for another 17 years. Lastly, I told the dealership three times I was transferring plates and I was coerced into receiving a new registration, which is less work for the dealership and more work for me. In addition, I told the dealership threes time my wife was picking up the car, not me. The paperwork was all wrong and my wife had to wait 2.5 hours instead of a 0.5 hours. I'm not sure what else I need to do as a consumer to inform the dealership but buying a car again from Hoffman is out of the question. More

I spoke with David Leach who was very nice but the luke warm reception from one manager who spoke to my wife waiting in the vehicle when we brought the vehicle in to show what had happened to the door panel was curious to us. We purchased an extended warranty when we purchased the vehicle new in 2014 and were led to believe such items would be covered. Especially "Known Issues". Thankfully it was without question. We also had an oil change done at the same time. The atmosphere there is usually friendly. More

Extremely Dissatisfied I had my vehicle, a 2013 Ford Focus SE, serviced on more than one occasion at Hoffman Ford Lincoln in East Hartford, CT. On one occasion, I had to h I had my vehicle, a 2013 Ford Focus SE, serviced on more than one occasion at Hoffman Ford Lincoln in East Hartford, CT. On one occasion, I had to have a transmission issue addressed. Upon the return of my vehicle, I noticed numerous grease spots on the roof and other areas inside the cabin. More recently, my vehicle was leaking coolant, which was determined to be caused by a water pump failure. I have also had numerous other issues, including chaffed wires, a second transmission related issue, and a canister purge valve failure on this relatively young vehicle. For all of these issues I went to Hoffman Ford Lincoln for the service. At the same time that my vehicle's canister purge valve was being replaced, they also addressed a door lock recall that was issued for certain Ford vehicles, including mine. When I received the vehicle back, all four of the panels where the locking and window control units are located on the doors were broken. The panels were noticeably loose and open and unable to be popped back into place. The gaping spaces would allow for any debris and water to fall right inside. In addition to such obvious neglect of my vehicle, I found more grease spots and stains on the carpeting just like in prior visits. Because of these occurrences happening on numerous occasions, I have no choice but to rate my experiences at Hoffman Ford Lincoln as negative and I would not recommend this service center to others. The amount of mechanical issues that I had to endure with the vehicle, as well as the numerous negative experiences and lack of regard for my personal property that I experienced at Hoffman Ford Lincoln, prompted me to part with my 2013 Ford Focus SE and purchase a Honda. More
