After 3 appointments and visits to the service center the car was accepted. John kept us up to date. However when collecting the car there was no urge from anybody there to help. When finally attended to the person was rude and showed no interest. Was aware of the cost but nobody could explain me of the additional environment charge. This is the second time visiting this location and will be the last. More
It’s impossible to get anyone to answer a phone in the service department. And after a $1300 starter installation, they had the nerve to charge me $50 for an oil change. Once again, I found myself in a very disappointing situation with Hollywood Chrysler Jeep. I brought in my son’s car to have a coolant leak checked—an issue that hadn’t occurred since March of this ye situation with Hollywood Chrysler Jeep. I brought in my son’s car to have a coolant leak checked—an issue that hadn’t occurred since March of this year—along with a few minor concerns. Four days later, I received a text message stating that the problem was allegedly so severe that the entire engine needed to be replaced, along with the hoses, coolant reservoir, and thermostat, for a total of $18,265. When I returned to pick up the vehicle for a second opinion, I was informed that it had no coolant and couldn’t retain any, making it undrivable. This was extremely concerning, considering my son had driven the car in good condition—with a full coolant reservoir—all the way from North Central Florida without any issues. Somehow, within a few days in their care, the vehicle had gone from fully operational to completely undrivable, with a supposedly damaged engine and hoses. After speaking with the manager—who was initially unaware of the situation—he looked into the matter and discovered that the issue could be resolved simply by replacing the coolant container, which was done in under 30 minutes. I then took the car to a second repair shop, where I was told the engine was perfectly fine and that only regular maintenance was needed. This experience was completely unacceptable and felt deceptive. It is deeply troubling that such an extreme and costly repair was recommended for an issue that turned out to be minor and easily fixable. Unfortunately, this type of behavior feels unethical and dishonest, and it has caused me to lose all trust in this dealership. It’s the reason I’ve decided to sell my own Jeep. While my son still owns one, this will be the last time we bring a vehicle to this location. The customer service was poor, and the entire experience felt more like a scam than a legitimate service.
