Good evening, My name is Steven Lustig and I am the Vice President of The Autosport Group. I am very sorry for your frustration and your experience with our dealership. I have been working with our management team to learn more of this. I would certainly like to hear your side via telephone conference if you would be willing to do so. I was advised that we said we would match the price of DCH Academy but we also said we would have to charge for the accessory package that they would put on as well, something we are well aware of with their dealership. From what I understand, we were $671 apart from the quote from DCH without the hard add of accessory package the DCH vehicles come with. Again, I would really like to speak with you to discuss it in more detail. Kindly advise when we could speak so I can best learn of the experience and make any corrections internally if necessary. Hi Steven If you talked to Sean Turner, then the story is a lie. We went over the out the price and then the base price changed which increased the out the door price by the $671 + tax. $26,037.00 Price $499.00 Doc Fees $228.00 Nitrogen, Wheel Locks $8.05 Processing fee $26,772.05 Total before tax $1,773.65 Tax $28,545.70 Total after tax $7.50 Tire Tax $301.00 DMV $28,854.20 This was the out the door breakdown that Sean provided and I agreed to purchase. When the car became available, the base price changed from $26.037 to $26.701. You should check your facts. Here's what Sean sent me in an email. I spoke with my manager the car is available. unfortunately the manager i work the deal with is not here. i spoke with the one that is here and they are not willing to do that number. the best he wants is 26701+++ If I could give you a negative rating, I would. In fact, they lowered the base price by $100. Mr. Albert, I stated the difference between us and DCH was $70, not the two prices from our dealership. You provided the OTD's with a delta of $70. I have acknowledged the mistakes, as well as took the time to learn more about this. I was working from home last night when I was communicating with you and my plan was to reach out to you this morning from the office via the telephone number you provided to me last night. I have already shared the communication from Sean with Jane this morning first thing when I walked in an hour ago. A couple of things we should be clear about. Inbound cars, not yet arrived, will show on our website. If a client has a deposit on the car, we do not remove it from our website, it doesn't clear until it's posted to accounting, often a day after the vehicle is sold. I am rather confused as to why you feel the need to impose the threat of telling me you are going on all of the review sites to post negative reviews, but I am not one to stand in the way of someone's motivation or to challenge it. The reality is that you have the attention of the owner of this dealership, who chose to work on your situation at home while spending time with his children, and addressed this first thing when I came in this morning. within 5 minutes of your review, I had inquiries to our Sales Management team. You and I both know, that is not common in this or any business. Mistakes were made, there is no question about that and I cannot reverse them but have spent the better part of the last 12 hours doing my best to make sure they don't happen again and offered my sincere apologies. You are certainly entitled to call us unethical, however I will say our ability to stay out of court, never have a concern with the NJ Attorney General, while operating an auto group for nearly 50 years speaks volumes in regards to our ethics. Again, you would find those to be uncommon for a New Jersey based auto group. If there is an opportunity for us to speak today, kindly advise when it would be convenient for us to do so, I thank you for your time in reviewing our exchanges. Regards, Steven

Hi Stephen The agreed upon base price was $26,037 and then it was increased to $26,701, which would have increased AutoSports the out the door price to $29,562.19. The original out the door price from AutoSport was $28,854.20. AutoSport broke its promise on the price which would have cost me an addition $665.87. I wanted to make it clear since you seem to think the difference was only $70 when it was actually $665.87. As the VP, your sales team and management should not promise a price, then delay my purchase by 4 days due to lack of inventory in which you had 2 cars available but refused to sell, and then when they became available they don't honor the price and increase it by $665.87. This is no way to operate a business and expect positive feedback. Unethical business practices ... shame on AutoSport. Negative ratings coming on all car dealer rating sites. FYI - I bought a Pilot from AutoSport in the past ... would have liked to continue to business with your sales team. You need to make changes to win my business in the future. Grant Albert
