I have purchased 5 vehicles from this dealer (3-CRVs, I -Accord and 1-pilot. Each came with the free oil change package (which I PAID for), but I was informed today (7/30/21) that it would not be honored. -Accord and 1-pilot. I purchased 2 Honda Accords with free oil changes for life, only to find out last week that life ended without notice - I guess customer satisfaction is no longer important to Honda, as breaking an agree life, only to find out last week that life ended without notice - I guess customer satisfaction is no longer important to Honda, as breaking an agreement in any sense is wrong. Life is life. Both the dealership and I signed paperwork, some call it contracts. I've stayed with Honda for a long time, this breaks trust immediately. In a time where customer loyalty is extremely important, I guess Honda is telling me to go do my business elsewhere, to tell everyone I know to not buy Honda, they change terms after you buy the car. We are actively on the market for 2 cars and based on this, I would not consider Honda at all. I guess I am simply a former customer, a former loyal Honda owner, someone Honda once cared about. More
Just went to the dealership today for an oil change. As was mentioned by other customers already, the free oil change that came with the purchase of my new Pilot in 2016 is no longer honored. Instead they was mentioned by other customers already, the free oil change that came with the purchase of my new Pilot in 2016 is no longer honored. Instead they offered to change the oil for $59, discounted from their ‘regular’ price of $89… At this price I would go anywhere but there. I had a really bad experience when I bought the car there, paid for a $80 restocking fee for a door trim that was out of stock for a month when I canceled the order 5 days after I bought the car. This is not the way to treat your customer who just spent 40k buying a new car from you. Looks like the new owner is not any better. Stay away, there are better dealerships out there. More
They are no longer accepting the free oil change service plan that I paid for when I purchased my vehicle. The new ownership does not want to keep current customers happy. After I left the general service area and was told to go to express for my oil change, I was informed as of 2 weeks ago, Honda Cars of Katy, no longer honors the free oil changes. The new owners of the dealership no longer pay nor care. After I complained I was offered to pay at cost for my free oil change. This is the worst customer service I have received. Why does the new owner not care about treating existing customers. I saw in Nextdoor at least 5 other people complain of their free oil change no longer valid. Honda Cars of Katy, seriously consider how this prepaid for service, is worth losing customers over. I hope the warranty part I am waiting for comes in and is installed. Now I don’t have much faith in this dealership. Management please take a look at this. More

Worst customer service, misinformed about the different warranty plans, oil change plans, etc. it was a total lie. I would never return to this place. This dealership is beyond incompetent and has the worse customer service in the state of Texas! I loved my Honda and it is a great car but since this is the only dealership in my area I will not be able to customer service in the state of Texas! I loved my Honda and it is a great car but since this is the only dealership in my area I will not be able to ever buy one again. He goes by Javier, but his real name is Jesus Balderas. He lied to her that she did not qualify for any other loans than the one through Honda finance IF she paid a large sum down. She told him from the start that she got a pre-qualification through her bank, but he lied and said that she doesn't qualify any where else. The only reason she found out was because her bank emailed her the very next day to tell her that she still has the pre-approval. The rates for the pre-approval was over 5% less than Honda financing. He wanted to make a quick buck, and lied. She recorded her conversation with another loan officer at the dealership, and he told her that he saw that Javier did not run her credit with her bank. He just made her believe that he did. What a crook! Take your money else where and do not trust these people. My friend is already spreading word to everyone she knows, and I am doing the same. This dealership should be shut down for all the crooked things they have done. Managers are looking the other way because this finance officer is making his sales. Look through the reviews, Javier is not the only one who does this, and he has done this to many other people. Beware! More
I went with my best friend to get her a new car, and she already knew what she wanted. When we got there the car sales guy was really informative and professional. He was excellent. After he handed us off to the finance officer, Javier, Jesus Balderas, things went from great to a nightmare. He took advantage of my friend by being deceitful. What I learned from this experience is that I will not be doing business with Honda Cars of Katy and Javier. He is not looking to build relationships with his customers, and making sure that they give a good review to make himself more money by being a morally good person. No, this man is all about what he can take from his customers right then and there. He does not care about building a trusting relationship for customers to come back. I was considering coming back had my friend's experience been great. I witnessed how he lied, and he is completely okay with screwing customers over for a quick buck. I have an almost 20 year old car, and I am on the market to find something more reliable. My brother doesn't have a car, so we were both going to make a trip in soon. They just lost out on two customers, but what does that matter right? You guys have more innocent people to scam. I hope people are reading these reviews before coming in to purchase a car. More
