I was basically forced into purchasing aftermarket options on the vehicle (outside coating and interior protection). I did NOT WANT those things but was told ALL new vehicles from Honda of Ames were r options on the vehicle (outside coating and interior protection). I did NOT WANT those things but was told ALL new vehicles from Honda of Ames were required to have those things done prior to a sale. The price advertised on the website (of which I have a screen shot and the actual sales sticker) was different than the price I was charged! I filed a complaint with the Iowa Attorney General's office and BBB and am in the process of writing a letter to the editor of the Des Moines Register. This practice is deceitful! By the way.........you don't have this correct where I can choose Dan Lowe, the actual salesperson for the vehicle. Also, don't see the name of the finance person. More

Had to leave for service and found the service light come back right after I collected my car and driving it less than a mile. Second time I have it back they were supposed(atleast told me they were planning back right after I collected my car and driving it less than a mile. Second time I have it back they were supposed(atleast told me they were planning on )to look at it sooner but took super long time and I had to miss making a trip to Minneapolis. Even though I moved to Ankeny, came back to get it serviced at Ames, since I heard good reviews about the service. Now I’m doubting it.. More
