Haggling with back and forth offers are the norm. Sims Honda breaks that mold! I found a truck that was unmatched in quality, miles and features to all the Seattle area listings. It was well worth the drive to Burlington to see the truck. I had never ridden in a Ridgeline, let alone driven one. Mike OLaughlin immediately put me at ease with his friendly personality and feature review of the vehicle. He was very knowledgeable about not only the Ridgeline but also several other comparative market vehicles. No stress and no pressure - when I told Mike he was my first stop he didn't try to strongarm me into a purchase, he told me where I could find a Nissan to test drive up the street at another dealership. Well Mikes strategy worked, I test drove a couple of other trucks but was back to speak with Mike the next day for my Ridgeline. I drove it home the next day. I will also say that Mike reviewed in the lobby the "extras" and showed me what they looked like and felt like on the vehicle. These options are often presented in the closing process and feel like a " pile on". Laura Thompson in finance was outstanding. She reviewed the pricing of the contract, then reviewed the "extras" from a coverage and monthly cost addition. We purchased the Honda Maintenance, 3M protection and the NW exterior/interior care package. Mostly because I had time to digest the features and benefits before I signed paperwork.
