1000 to replace ac discharge hose. Service writer called and said it’s now 1700 since hose can’t be remove from condenser. Got a 3rd call saying it’s actually 2000 now. Told his i can’t afford it and took and said it’s now 1700 since hose can’t be remove from condenser. Got a 3rd call saying it’s actually 2000 now. Told his i can’t afford it and took car back. Disappointed because i’m a regular customer and did my car maintenance and recall here. More

Where to start? with the dishonest work recommendations or the astronomically high pricing? i came in with a car that was making a sound from one of the front tires and potentially needed rear brakes. or the astronomically high pricing? i came in with a car that was making a sound from one of the front tires and potentially needed rear brakes. I was told that we would need to change a wheel bearing with a cost of 950 dollars. something didnt seem right. i took the car elsewhere for a second opinion and the mechanic actually put the car on a lift and showed me the parts. both front wheel bearings actually needed to be changed. The other mechanic changed both, using genuine honda parts for a total of 900 dollars. When price comparing the other items that were recommended by the dealership i quickly realized that i was being completely taken advantage of. Since i really dont like to be xxxxed by smug corporate salespeople i will no longer be coming back to this dealership for maintenance or repairs. In all fairness this isnt the first negative experience that i have had at a honda dealership but it will certainly be the last. More
