2015 Honda Pilot purchase Because our local Honda dealership keeps very low inventory, my wife and I had been looking on the internet for a slightly used, very low mileage Hond Because our local Honda dealership keeps very low inventory, my wife and I had been looking on the internet for a slightly used, very low mileage Honda Pilot. We found three of them at Honda Superstore of Lisle, so we made an appointment through email to come in and look at the vehicles. Brian greeted us when we walked in the door and was very helpful and patient as we carefully decided which Pilot we like the best. After we narrowed it down to a 2013 Pilot with 30,000 miles AND filled out the paperwork, we found out that the vehicle already had a down payment from another customer. We were a little disappointed since that was the one vehicle we like best out of all the used Pilots on the lot. Needless to say, Brian was taken by surprise by this mixup, and very apologetic. Because we had driven two hours to come look at a vehicle which was listed as available, Brian told us that he would see what he could do to make things right. He gave us prices on 2015 Pilots and to make a long story short (too late for that), we ended up with a 2015 Pilot SE that was only $1000 more than the 2013 model we originally wanted. There was no price haggling between parties, Brian was very courteous and willing to work with us. My wife and I felt very well respected by everyone we encountered at the dealership. I would highly recommend Honda Superstore of Lisle to anyone looking for a Honda...and ask for Brian! Oh, and Brian shared with us that he normally just sells used vehicles, and our purchase was his first new vehicle sale. So we feel Super Special to have worked with Brian! More
