John is the only one I like dealing with John Arslan , my sales guy, is the only responsive and helpful person that I have spoken to or dealt with in that dealer, and the parts department. I John Arslan , my sales guy, is the only responsive and helpful person that I have spoken to or dealt with in that dealer, and the parts department. I gave it 4 stars because of John. The rest need work. When you call them, it is like they are either never at their desks (Service) or they'll say "I'll have service call you in 15-20 minutes" and no call back. I had to call them 2 hours late, AWFUL. This morning I called at 9 am, I still haven't received a call back. I called John and he said I am on it, let me see. He follows up and he is reliable at the dealer, even after he sells you the car. Thank you John. More

Read this and do what you like I bought a used 01 Honda Civic from Honda of Tenafly...on the ride home I realized the front shocks needed to be replaced because the car was bouncing I bought a used 01 Honda Civic from Honda of Tenafly...on the ride home I realized the front shocks needed to be replaced because the car was bouncing up and down like crazy...Once I got home and had a chance to take the car to a mechanic he clarified that it indeed needed new front shocks and that the dealer must have known before selling it...ok...fast forward 3 weeks...after getting married and driving up for our honeymoon to Cape Cod, out of nowhere to transmission slips and low and behold, I have to get my new used car towed to the nearest garage and then they do confirm that yes, I need an entire new transmission...at this point I called Honda of Tenafly to notify them of the two major mishaps that have just occurred to my newly purchased vehicle...Because the shocks needed replacement asap, they told me they would reimburse me for the cost of the new parts, which they did...However they did nothing to rectify the cost of the transmission, which they no obligation to, but what have been really nice seeing that it partially ruined my honeymoon, and set me back a huge amount.
