I wanted to share my experience with HONDA OF VALLEY STREAM. First I would like all to know I live in Valley Stream NY for over thirty years. I also purchased a new honda civic in 2019 from this dealers STREAM. First I would like all to know I live in Valley Stream NY for over thirty years. I also purchased a new honda civic in 2019 from this dealership. My purchase was so much easier and civil from this week. Sales manager Mr. Martino and at that time General Manager Mr. Parlow got together and made it happen. I will begin with Sunday June 8th , 2025. I went to honda of valley stream used car lot on Sunrise highway. I was greeted with the utmost respect by Mr. Chris John. We looked and I drove a 2022 honda HR_V... SO FAR SO GOOD. I told Mr. John its Sunday so i will come back tomorrow. Monday morning at 10am i went back and saw Mr. John. I made an offer for the vehicle and he went to General Manager OSCAR MELARA. He came back and said its to low. Hey, you have to always start low correct???. I came up another Thousand dollars....He brought it to Mr. Oscar Melara. A few minutes or so later Mr John came back and stated my General Manager Melara wants to see you in his office. Right than and there I know what was going to happen. Never, NEVER in all my years (im a senior citizen) purchasing vehicles for my parents, children and family members that the GENERAL MANAGER CALLED ME IN THEIR OFFICE. If you are reading this review and purchased a vehicle you know the GENERAL MANAGER COMES TO YOU. Mr. Melara read his resume to me how smart he was and how this vehicle he can sell wholesale for more. When he finished I showed him my GRAY HAIR and said I bought many vehicles over the years and read my resume. At the end we were one thousand dollars apart over a vehicle that was 20 plus thousand dollars. When it comes to managers who believe they are the smartest one in the room you know trouble is near. General Manager Mr. Melara should have came out of his office and walked a little to Mr. John desk and greeted me. At this time it was not about the money. (REMEMBER CUSTOMER SERVICE) I guess he was to lazy to get out of his chair.. Im very disappointed in this Dealership. Always, the General Manager, Sales Manager comes to you and says HELLO even if you did not purchase a vehicle. In addition, they say thanks for coming in today!!!!!! In closing, I can only hope someone from this dealership gives me a call to say hey how was your experience on Monday JUNE 9, 2025. WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW SOON!!!!! More
