Pat LeClair is awful Honda of Westport left my keys in the car and unlocked for 4 days in the lot and forgot to do the work requested on it. And then blamed it on me. Melanie Bacilieri told me all of this, I figure it’s recorded somewhere in their system. She thought it was amusing, I did not, as my car could have been stolen and I needed it for work. Ultimately wasn’t her fault though, she was just the messenger. I asked to speak with the manager, Pat LeClair. He proceeded to explain that it was my fault for not following up...which made me speechless. I told him that this made no sense, I dropped my car off to get worked on 4 days prior and was told I’d be called when it was ready. I’ve never had an auto repair service experience work any other way. Why would I have to follow up? For what? Especially after telling me that YOU would follow up after the work was done. I felt like I was taking crazy pills with this man. Honestly, I don't mind mistakes. It’s just that I’ve never witnessed a manager, of any organization, try to weasel his way out of blame like that before, especially with such hubris and absolutely zero justification for behaving in such a way. I was just disgusted by his behaviour more than anything. Been a Honda of Westport customer with my Honda for over 15 years...no longer. More
