I got straight talk from the beginning, no misleading statements or lies. I got all the incentives available to me without a hassle and no mark ups. I also got a good price for my trade-in. I went into this dealership to by a Kia Sorento and for the record _ I bought a Kia Sorento the following day at a dealership that actually has integrity. We were flat out lied to - I had a very specific upgrades that I wanted to have on the vehicle and was not flexible on - so out comes the man from the back room and low and behold he found the only one available in the western United State - what a crock - we found 4 the next day - and then because it was so hard to find there was going to be a premium added to the MSRP because of what they were going to have to trade to get the vehicle for me. All the figures were scribbled on the back on a piece of paper (nothing professional at all) they could be scratched out and changed very easily. We were not told about one rebate that was available and the payments figured on the sheet were figured incorrectly. The bad experience did not occur because of bad credit - we have excellent credit - our credit score is above 800 - or lack or a down payment - we put $10,000.00 down when we bought the car elsewhere the following day - we did not misrepresent ourselves in any way - and treated everyone with respect. What we got in return was the exact opposite - I will NEVER go back to this dealership and have shared this experience with everyone I know that is thinking of buying a vehicle - as well as how well we were treated when we walked into a DIFFERENT dealership the following day. If you value HONESTY and CUSTOMER SERVICE drive right by this lot! More
This is the worst dealership in the valley. Total con-artist's who will take you for the ride of your life. These seemingly nice people will change your agreed numbers back in the finance office. Don't be at all surprised when you see added unapproved items that you never signed for. READ READ READ your paperwork, don't let these people reprint anything because you allegedly "signed in the wrong box" the entire contract will be different with new prices. I'm sure these people won't be in business very long. Do your homework, go to Kelly Blue Book and get your trade-in value, don't ever sign up for warranties, service contracts or Gap Insurance through a dealership. They may sound like a great idea but they are a scam. Horne Kia's Gap Insurance $600 My Insurance Companies charge for GAP a one time $29 fee. "Service contracts" are the biggest scam of all....."its only $199 at Horne Kia....read the fine print after they miss lead you.....turns out to be a $900 cost for a couple of oil changes and filters. Theft protection is a complete waste of money....Horne KIA has this already written on their contracts to make it appear it required.....it's an option... make them cross it off the contract if you must purchase a vehicle from these dishonest people. I have no patience to buy cars the old fashion way. I called Chris, negotiated a price over the phone went down the same day worked with Joe, drove it, signed and split. My experience with Horne Kia was exceptional. When my son purchased his Sportage at Horne Kia, I co-signed for him. I am now finding out (since my son is late on his payment) that I was a co-purchaser, not a co-signer. The bank told me that no co-signed for him. I am now finding out (since my son is late on his payment) that I was a co-purchaser, not a co-signer. The bank told me that no where on the contract does Horne Kia say that I was co-signing, it reads that my son and I both purchased the vehicle. When I asked the General Manager before signing the contract if co-signing for this vehicle would affect my credit rating since I was purchasing a house, he said no, it wouldn't. Of course that was not the truth, because I am listed as the purchaser not co-signer. When I recently called Horne Kia, neither the salesman nor the General Manager that my son and I had worked with on this purchase, works there anymore. How flippin' convenient More
Went to the dealership to see and test drive the Kia Soul. After seeing the car one day, brought my wife back for a test drive the next. It was here that the high pressure started, and left the dealership because I was late for work. They had me fill out some paperwork, saying we could finish the deal the next day. After getting home, I realized this was not the deal for me and called to cancel. I was then told I had "signed a binding contract" by the salesmanager, who then intimated they would sue me for the balance if I didn't come back in, purchase, and take delivery. I retained legal counsel, and canceled the deal with the attorney's help. Very BAD EXPERIENCE. They are still dragging their feet crediting me back the down payment. More
I bought a used car from them and it wasn't a Kia so they didn't know much about it. Tyler was great and very helpful but he didn't know what an in lieu tax form was for military members. Also the credit score he got from somewhere was almost 40 points lower than the one we had printed with us. Todd was also very helpful. the only downside to the sales was no matter how hard we kept telling them we wanted an out the door price they completely ignored me and kept talking monthly payment. Now on to Diego...This guy has no customer service skills whatsoever i called because i was overcharged for my license plate. i have never bought a car and got a plate that is only good for 2 months but they did it yet they charged me for a full year??? after a couple of calls they eventually sent me a refund check minus 4 dollars. Once again i called Diego who told me he would go talk to the lady about it. Four days later i call him back and he tells me that because it is the end of the month he didn't want to bother her. He even had the nerve to tell me to come down there and he would give me 4 bucks like it wasnt a big deal. Next i went to a general manager whose assistant was very helpful and she went to talk to whoever this lady was Diego didn't want to bother. Apparently they kept the 4 dollars as an "additional service fee" and when i said "for what calling to say you overcharged me?" i got a refund check a few days later. I will not be taking my car to Horne Kia for the free oil change they offered me and it is all because of Diego. Maybe if they send him to some customer service classes and he treated customers like people and not dollar signs it would be different. More
