My wife took our 2023 Kia Sorrento to Horne Kia on 03/13/2026 to have warranty work done on a window shade that wouldn't stay up properly. When she got home she told me she was charged $151.00. When I looked at the invoice it showed it was for an oil change and a tire rotation. On 03/11/2026 she just had an oil change done. She never got an estimate at drop off and assumed the window shad wasn't under warranty. She also said the service advisor Christian never went over anything with her after the fact, just pay over there to pickup your vehicle. I called that day and asked to speak with the service manager. The person who answered the phone said they were the service manager and he apologized and said they don't do things like that and they would make it right. He then said and he would need to speak with his manager about this. He said he or someone would call me back. Three and a half days went by with no phone call. I called back again and asked to speak to the service director. The person who answered tells me he'll transfer me and he'll pick right up. Instead I get transferred to a phone that rang 15 or more times with no option for a voicemail. I hung up and called back again, the service line rang several times and then it rolled over to sales. A nice lady answered the call and took the time to ask me what happened. She took down my phone number and email and said she'd walk right over and put this on the service directors desk to call me back. The next day, there's no call again. I went online and looked up who the general manager of the dealership was (Joshua) and found his email. I detailed everything and included both receipts proving the oil change had just been completed two days prior. I left my phone number. No one called me again. I was being super reasonable and patient just wanting to speak with someone and go over this. Of course, no response or call again. I decided I needed to go to the dealership in person. After that I became very irritated that would have to waste my time going to this dealership because no one would call me back. This dealership is 30 minutes away from my house. No customers were there at that moment. I had to walk up to someone to get acknowledged. No greeting whatsoever. I explain to the person sitting there that I would like to speak with the service director. He walks over to this guy sitting in an office. He signals to come over to him. Already pretty rude that he wouldn't come out to me. Right when I walk in he says "what do you need?" Not how can I help you or my name is ______. Super rude already. I introduce myself by shaking his hand and try to break the ice by saying "so are you the person who won't return my calls?" He didn't even tell me his name when he shook my hand. I had to ask him. He then shrugs to my question and right then I realized he knew exactly who I was and was purposely not returning my calls. I then try to start explaining what happened and I was maybe 5 words into it and he said "yeah, yeah your wife isn't getting her money back". As soon as I heard this I at that very minute knew they were misleading people on purpose there and he knew that. I hadn't previously asked for our money back, although that's what I would have asked had I been given the opportunity. In that moment I thought, obviously they don't care about customers or keeping customers, especially this guy who is supposed to be leading the rest of the service department. I was so xxxxxx off at his curt rudeness at that moment I lost my cool, blew up, and cursed him out big time. Which, he absolutely deserved. This could have all been avoided with a simple phone call and them rectifying the situation. However, they won't rectify something they did on purpose. What's really crazy is over $151.00 to rob my wife of unnecessary services, they lost customers. In a few months and we're going to be purchasing 2 fully loaded Tellurides now that they're come in hybrid models. We’ll purchase elsewhere. More
I had a very disappointing experience with the Kia/Horne dealership in Glendale, AZ. I traveled from Tucson after being fully approved for a vehicle, and my son‑in‑law arranged a ride to pick it up. Once he arrived, the dealership suddenly informed us that the car wouldn’t be ready for another week because it had been in an accident — something we were never told beforehand. Despite multiple text messages to the salesperson, I received no response. The lack of communication, transparency, and professionalism made this an extremely frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this dealership. More
Not happy with the service managers lack of response on helping us with warranty issues. We contacted several times by phone and in person. Now 2 months in and still no response. The additional money we paid for extra warranty on paint ,even after "there "third-party people said that the paint was defective...and nothing. We were in the market for our next vehicle and not sure if Horne Kia will get our business...We have purchased several kia's and now have lost confidence in follow through of the dealer More

SCAMMERS! !!! I got my engine replaced here and when i got my car back it was shaking! The guy responsible's name was Javier. I told Javier it wasn't doing that !!! I told Javier it wasn't doing that prior and he investigated and said it was the motor mounts. Then he tried to charge me $1400+ to fix something they broke. At first his excuse was that this can happen due to installation of the new engine and that was why they suggested beforehand to purchase motor mounts. I told him to bring me the paperwork of what you suggested because I ASSURE you I WAS NEVER SUGGESTED THAT. He confidently left and came back saying "Ohh looks like we never sent it out to you but i have it here". Then his next excuse was "it was doing that before it got here!". Then i spoke with the manager named Robert and he was absolutely no help at all! I told him this is bad business! I brought it into the shop with no shake and I leave from your shop with a shake. Then Robert said they don't touch the motor mounts and theres no way that the install could affect it. Directly contradicting what Javier said saying that IT CAN and thats why they "allegedly" recommend it. THEN THEY TRIED TO GET ME TO SIGN A CONTRACT REAL QUICK AND WHEN I READ IT IT SAID I DECLINED REPAIRS!!!!!!! Scam artist!!!!! NEVER GO HERE! Then I called KIA Corporate and its been months with no response! More
Can someone please call me back-bought new 2023 K5-back window defective- went in for repair waited 5.5 hours. Came home AND when I tried the window it is NOT WORKING again. Called and Called- they have no window defective- went in for repair waited 5.5 hours. Came home AND when I tried the window it is NOT WORKING again. Called and Called- they have not called back. Another issue in which we have been waiting months for them to get the part in was due to a parking sensor bracket . Called them and found out that they had the part- but no one called us. Now we're waiting for a call back and it has already been a week. PLEASE CALL DAWN OR CHARLES HOLMES CAN YOU PLEASE CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS AFTER THE SALE ALSO? YOU HAVE OUR NUMBER.
