This is not the first time Hudson Ford failed to meet standards within the last 18 months. For that reason, we have moved our vehicle service and future purchases to a competitor. Ever since Hudson Ford was purchased by Lithia Motors the customer service has declined. Big name dealers focus on sales volume, not servicing the customer. The longer drive to the new dealership will be worth it. I do not or will not recommend Hudson Ford to my associates in the market for vehicle service or purchases.

Regarding the loaner vehicle, we understand how important it is to have a comfortable and familiar replacement while your vehicle is being serviced. While we do our best to accommodate specific requests, availability can vary depending on timing and returns from other customers. At the time of drop-off, the only vehicles available were full-size models, but smaller options became available the following morning. Our manager attempted to reach out with a plan to personally deliver a more suitable loaner and pick up your vehicle, but unfortunately hasn’t been able to connect. We appreciate your loyalty to the Ford brand and your past business with us. It’s clear we missed the mark this time, and we’re committed to learning from this experience to better serve our customers in the future. Not having the correct loaner was part of the issue. The service advisor, Derick, handling the work order was rude and condescending. That was the breaking point for us. We choose not to return the general managers call and we are already working with a new Ford dealer. Hudson Ford will never receive a dime from us again. We’ve learned we are not the only victims of poor customer service after sharing our story with friends and coworkers. It’s more of an epidemic at your dealership that needs to be addressed internally.
