My vehicle was brought into service dept for a Recall. Then the next day it would not run after not having NO mechanical issues for a year of owning the vehicle. I took my car to Hughes Honda, and they charged me $868. 98 for a fuel pump that I did not need. The very next day, my car started skipping and jerking again. I called them and brought the car back. They ran another diagnostic and charged me $115, only to tell me I needed a $6,500 head gasket repair. That price is outrageous — head gaskets do not cost anywhere near that, and it turns out the repair wasn’t even needed. I got a second opinion elsewhere, and all that was wrong was spark plugs and low antifreeze. Once those were replaced, my car ran perfectly fine. Please beware of this place. The mechanics are not thorough, and the service advisors — especially Keegan — will try to add unnecessary charges just to increase profits. It seems like they’re fabricating issues because car sales are slow. Save yourself the money and frustration. Go somewhere honest. More
