There is a terrible sales manager IMAN,who is very rudely dissuaded me from buying a car that I definitely wanted to buy. when I asked to remove added options and adjust the sales price he was like you must dissuaded me from buying a car that I definitely wanted to buy. when I asked to remove added options and adjust the sales price he was like you must buy one of them from me! And if you buy the car or not I don’t care! I’m the sales manager and that’s it!..I was wondering is there any benefits for owner to have such a rude and pretentious manager!? I did not lose because I have a great credit and I will buy from another dealer, but what profit do you have for that company? You expect more from big dealership! I never suggest this dealership! If I could give this dealership a score lower than one star I would have. The entire experience was horrible. This is a dealership that helps perpetuate the image of car salespeople and car dealerships as star I would have. The entire experience was horrible. This is a dealership that helps perpetuate the image of car salespeople and car dealerships as corrupt places of business. They advertised a vehicle with a fake price and refused to honor the advertised price no matter what we offered. This "fake leader" was also advertised at their sister store in Garden Grove, but the vehicle was in Huntington Beach, pretty deceptive. It became obvious as soon as we sat down after the test drive that they were not being honest with us and the sales person was incredibly aggressive and treated us like we were stupid. I think it's important to note that I am VERY familiar with the car business as my father worked in the industry his entire life working his way up to become a General Manager of six different dealerships before he retired, and my brother has also worked his entire life in the industry and is currently a General Manager of a dealership. I let the sales person know this up front hoping he would not treat us in the disrespectful manner that he did, but he did not seem to understand this dynamic. In the end my advice to anyone considering buying a car from this dealership, JUST DON'T DO IT! There are reputable dealership that you should buy from, not Huntington Beach Hyundai. More
Bought a brand new Hyundai Kona for daughter on Jan 14. Communication with Sales folks went pretty well all up to the point we arrived there to look at the vehicle. Once we handed in the money everything f Communication with Sales folks went pretty well all up to the point we arrived there to look at the vehicle. Once we handed in the money everything fell apart. 1. They missed giving the second key. We were promised that they would mail it. Still to get that. No replies to emails until we wrote a note that we would go to Consumer Protection or AG office. We have to go back to get that key. 2. Low washer fluid indicator came in within 2 days as the tank was empty. We had to address that on our own. We worry about any other issue that may come up. 3. MyHyundai and BlueLink was setup under a wrong email that was fixed after a month by Hyundai (no help from dealership) after we told we would go to Consumer Protection or AG office giving an ultimatum and being on phone a dozen times for over 6 hours. I see replies from the Sales GM Faris Oweini in many bad google comments asking to contact him for redressal of those grievance. I talked to him. Guess what, all talk, no action, no replies to texts afterwards. All that he writes has no substance, just pure inaction even after you contact him. Long story short, we have lost faith in this dealership. Got an email from owner to rate the service. When I replied to that, it went to the folks who were responsible for them. I would have given it a 0 rating except for the pre-sale help. If you do not get the normal help buying a new car, what can you expect from this place. We had never experienced these issues in buying 4 new cars in the last few years. I usually don't leave bad reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience so buyers are aware and the seller addresses the issues. Feb 12 Update - POST REPLY FROM FARIS on Google Review (see below,, NO FIX YET, JUST A REGULAR NON-HELPFUL ANSWER): How many times do I need to reach out to you Faris? I spoke with you at length. You told you were busy with a customer, would call back. Never received that call. You did not give your email. You are not answering to my text messages. I called on Feb 1. Texted on Feb 1 and 2. Still waiting for a reply. Fix all the issues and compensate us for our time and problems that we went through buying a new car from you. A standard answer on google reviews is not a solution, take action to help, bring in accountability. Talked to someone at Huntington Beach Hyundai. Expecting a call. Feb 13 Update - No response from Faris or anyone at Huntington Beach Hyundai. Lodged a complaint with Hyundai National Office. Next stop for us is California Attorney General/Consumer Protection. I have always loved Hyundai and their service until today. My USB has not been working consistently since I purchased the car. Kept thinking it was my cords that were defective until I bought a verizon today. My USB has not been working consistently since I purchased the car. Kept thinking it was my cords that were defective until I bought a verizon cord and it still quit. Now you are saying you can't fix it because at the moment it is working. The problem is it quits randomly. Oh and they want a video of it quitting! Like that is possible while I am driving! I checked online and there are hundreds of reports on this issue to the point where it should probably be a recall. Just got off the phone with corporate and they want me to wait and bring it back again before they open a "case". So I have to rearrange my schedule again because you refuse to fix the problem. I have pages of complaints I have printed out if you would like to see them. AND I specifically called for this and I get there and you tell me the "diagnostics" take longer and you may not be able to do that today. I am so frustrated with Hyundai right now. I now understand the poor reviews. My car is still there so I cannot comment on some of the questions below. More
A trainwreck of a post-sales process. As soon as they had my money they all fell off the face of the planet and getting additional assistance was borderline impossible. I bought a Certifi As soon as they had my money they all fell off the face of the planet and getting additional assistance was borderline impossible. I bought a Certified Pre-Owned Ioniq 5 EV from this dealership and arranged to have it delivered for $800 as it is a 10 hour drive and I didn’t feel like making that trip in an EV right after I bought it. They assured me it would be at my house Friday, then that it would be there Saturday, then that it would be there Sunday, then that it would be there Monday… I finally get fed up and asked if they were sure if it would be leaving their dealership on Monday or if they were just guessing, and got the already known response that they were still looking for a service that would actually deliver the vehicle and were not sure if anyone would even take the job on Monday. I bought plane tickets that same day, flew to LAX, got an uber to the dealership, and picked up the car in person. I informed my sales agent, Eman, the night before along with another sales Agent, Hannah, that I would be there by 11:00am on Monday to pick up the vehicle. Neither of them told the rest of the dealership; neither of them were there, working, or apparently reachable by phone. My new car hadn’t been washed, wasn’t charged, wasn’t ready, and no one knew I was even showing up to pick up the vehicle. I asked about the delivery fee being refunded and got told that it would be no problem, 2 weeks later and I’m still waiting for a refund on the delivery fee. They also didn’t include a level 1 charger with the vehicle, which I didn’t realize until I got home, so I had to shell out another 250 for a level 1 charger because they neglected to even check if it was in the vehicle. All Ioniq 5s come with a Level 1 charger, the CPO I purchased was owned by the dealership itself, so they had the Level 1 charger there somewhere they either just forgot about it or didn’t want to give it to me. I spent 800 dollars on a delivery fee and they couldn’t even handle delivering the vehicle, I spent 250 dollars on a plane ticket to fly to LA and pick it up myself, and then had to spend 12 hours driving home with charge time, then drop another 250 on a home charger, and have received radio silence from the manager and sales team on whether I would get my 800 delivery fee back. The communication skills of the dealership are absolutely pathetic. They called me relentlessly when starting the process up until they took my down payment. As soon as the money left my bank account it became impossible to get any clear communication or expectations met. I would not recommend buying anything from this dealership unless you find an exceptional deal, and even then don’t count on them for any quality of service after they have your money. More

I would never recommend getting service done at this dealership. I got an oil change done and they forgot to put the next oil change sticker. I asked for a quote for the 15,000 mile check up and they dealership. I got an oil change done and they forgot to put the next oil change sticker. I asked for a quote for the 15,000 mile check up and they quoted over $400. I asked them not to up sale me and they still tried to. Luckily, I had an appointment at Harbor Hyundai and got the maintenance done for under $200. More
