While I waited, he and I would talk about cars and more. This spring I had the '09 in for a 200,000 mile check up. I didn't have any problems with it but Andrew suggested I should start looking for a newer model. I didn't feel the need to by a new one and he suggested the 2014 model which were just coming off lease. I wanted one just like the '09, the EX-L model, silver color with gray leather interior and low mileage. Andrew started searching for one and he assured me that such a car would be coming in. Sure enough, after a month it appeared in Hyannis. We both got excited about our new find and he suggested I put down a deposit to hold the car. Andrew had it moved to Orleans and it was everything I asked for including low mileage of 25,000. Andrew, who is both very personable and professional, was very easy to work with and made all the necessary arrangements. Buying a new car: The way it should be! I have never owned a Honda until now. I had been looking at the '17 CRV online, as well as several other, significantly more expensive small SUV make I have never owned a Honda until now. I had been looking at the '17 CRV online, as well as several other, significantly more expensive small SUV makes and models. Having had very poor experiences at "on-Cape" Dealerships before, I admit I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing another vehicle "on-Cape". However, I was pleasantly surprised when I met the guy who would turn out to be my salesperson. David Hunt was professional, knowledgeable, personable, and above all, he was not at all pushy or arrogant. I enjoyed working with him as he was very down to earth. He spent over 2-1/2 hours with me and allowed me to test drive the exact vehicle I wanted in many different driving, road, and traffic situations...(city, highway, rural, etc.). Even after spending all of that time with me, he did not get upset or pushy when I told him that I was still in the process of looking at other vehicles and was not ready to make a final decision that day. Once I did zero in on the CRV as my final decision, all other aspects of the transaction were handled promptly and efficiently. Upon pick-up (delivery) of the car, David generously spent another 2 hours with me and my husband, carefully going over every single standard feature and option of the car in great depth and detail. He never once interrupted a question I had or grew irritated when I asked him to re-explain something he had already reviewed. With new car purchases I have made in the past, usually once you finish the financial part of the transaction, they can't get rid of you fast enough, but that was not the case at all with Hyannis Honda. I drove away feeling highly confident that I could operate the controls and technology without feeling overwhelmed or confused. I really, really like my new car. I have had many other vehicles costing thousands and thousands of dollars more and have not been as happy with them as I am with this Honda. More
