If you believe the info provided online, the price of the truck was very competitive and I felt no need to shop around, given that the dealership was beating the averages for the lowest sales price. Great Sales Experience Our experience with purchasing a new Honda CRV was positive. The majority of the total four-hour process was spent with the sales representative, Jeff Our experience with purchasing a new Honda CRV was positive. The majority of the total four-hour process was spent with the sales representative, Jeff Bristol. Jeff's product knowledge, people skills, and customer relationship skills far exceeded our expectations and we consider them to be outstanding. We did run into some issues towards the end of the process. The first was my time constraint requiring me to leave to make another important and unrelated commitment. This was aggravated by a poor performance by my insurance agent in faxing back the RMV form promptly which was only resolved when Mr. Bristol interceded in the process. (more credit goes to Jeff on this point too) Due to my time issue during the financial part of the process, I was not focused on the fact that an extended warranty option, which added almost $2000 to the amount to be financed, raised the interest rate on the total loan by a half of a percent. I was not keen on this option anyway but if I had realized the true cost of this added option I would have declined it. I signed the papers so it is my fault. I do wish the person presenting the option had clearly pointed out the additional financial implication i.e., the whole loan would not only increase by $2000 but the interest rate on the whole loan would increase as well. It is possible he did reference this and I just missed it due to my time situation. At any rate, the whole process is considered as a positive and should not detract in any way the outstanding performance of Jeff Bristol. Kind regards, Stan Miller More
