I’m simply writing it in hopes of showing other people what a pleasant car buying experience can truly be like. My name is David and my wife and I live over 3 hours away from the Nashville area. We called and visited multiple dealerships within a 250 mile radius of our home and then came across a vehicle listing at Hyundai of Cool Springs. I must admit I wasn’t enthusiastic by this point. Many dealerships promote great inventory and fantastic deals only to disappoint you upon arrival and the next thing you know you’ve wasted hours of your time. But then I called Cool Springs and Joe Macke answered the phone. I told him I didn’t want any games and just wanted to know if he had a specific vehicle on the lot and how much he would take for it. He said, “I agree, give me about 10 minutes and I’ll text you back…. If you like the deal great, if not, that’s okay too but I’m not going to waste your time.” And guess what? He did exactly what he said he was going to do! Not only did they have the vehicle I wanted but they had cars with trim levels other dealerships hadn’t even mentioned. But that was just the beginning and I kid you not, Hyundai of Cool Springs saved me over $2,500 and I walked away with a vehicle that had far more features than any other vehicle I had seen elsewhere. You may ask, well what is David comparing this experience to and that’s a fair question. I’ve purchased vehicles from Mercedes, Toyota, Honda, Ford, and GMC dealerships and I can honestly say I’ve never experienced anything like the folks at Hyundai of Cool Springs. They’ve truly changed the game. It wasn’t just Joe; it was the finance manager, the general manager… every single employee was awesome. At no time was I pressured and we drove in and left with a new car in no time. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is today to visit a company where you feel like they actually want your business, will do everything they can to keep it, and will simply do what they say. In summary, I’d drive another 7 hours and do it all over again but this time, I’d save myself a lot of grief and just go there to begin with. They didn’t sell me a car; instead, I just told them what I wanted and they gave it to me…. what a difference that is. As for us, we’ll never purchase another vehicle from a different dealership. I give you my word Hyundai of Cool Springs will exceed your expectations and before you leave, you’ll be telling yourself, “Wow, that was nice, that was unexpected!” And Joe, well Joe’s invited for Thanksgiving at our house. I needed our SantaFe serviced. Drove to the dealership pulled into the service lane and was taken care of by their service advisor. He was very friendly and helpful as he told me they were booked but he'd pulled into the service lane and was taken care of by their service advisor.
