We had been working with the salesman for about a week on a deal, but couldn't come to terms. Finally superstar SM, Mike, comes by and, maybe because we are seniors, insults our intelligence. He was gruff, unfriendly, and obviously unwilling to make a deal. Even so,we left thinking maybe our terms were unrealistic. However, we went to another Hyundai dealership, and without even negotiating were given a price over $1000 less than superstar Mike's "best offer of the month" for the same vehicle with the exact same options. Hyundai of New Port Richie is more interested in winning the deal than earning the deal. Granted they win a lot. Not because they are worthy, but because many customers are not willing to fight for the best deal. From our experience, the best deal, for a variety of reasons, is not at Hyundai of New Port Richie. Changes I have purchased 4 cars from this dealership within the last 3 years. While the first experience was very positive, they have been getting progressive I have purchased 4 cars from this dealership within the last 3 years. While the first experience was very positive, they have been getting progressively worse ever since. What I have noticed is that their advertising strategies have changed drastically over the last 3-4 years. They now employ bait and switch tactics and while I am not a lawyer, I find it difficult to believe that their marketing strategies are even legal. I had a couple of issues arise in my 2nd deal in which I contacted the owner directly and he went above and beyond to make things right. This dealership used to be very customer oriented but that is no longer the case. I am now completely done with this dealer and will take my business elsewhere. They need to take a long look at their business practices before they lose more long term, loyal customers. More

Stellar experience! We recently purchased our 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport from this dealership and have to admit that it was the best car buying experience we have ever had We recently purchased our 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport from this dealership and have to admit that it was the best car buying experience we have ever had. We were originally very apprehensive over the brand and unfortunately despite three of our friends telling us to go here first, it was our last stop. Our situation was a little unique as we are rebuilding our credit and were extremely upside down in our current vehicle. The experience started with visiting the website which is extremely easy to navigate. We selected the trade in calculator and provided contact information. Less than 24 hours we were contacted by Karen Fitch (remember her name). Karen gave the opportunity to hear our entire situation prior to jumping to "sales mode". She asked really great open-ended questions to be able to position herself how best to serve us. After gathering all of the information she came back with some options for us. Karen invited us to the dealership to solidify the information and explore the Hyundai brand. Upon arrival to the lot we were greeted promptly by associates out front. They let Karen know that we were there and retrieved her for us. We were completely shocked at the amount of people that were there, both staff and customers. When Karen met us it was great from the first handshake. This being our 5th dealership visiting in the area, we were waiting for the "bait & switch" sales technique. That never happened. She was as genuine in person as she was on the phone. She worked with us for 3 hours to ensure that we were completely comfortable and satisfied. We drove several different vehicles and asked a lot of questions. She did all of the leg work for us and was able to finally present a solution that worked for us. She worked very hard to get us what we wanted and bridged that with what was realistic for our situation. As we concluded our buying experience we were met by Courtney Cohen a Finance Manager to sign all of the paperwork. This is where it typically gets hairy for most car buying experiences. Typically they get you into that little office, push all of these extras that essentially balloon your payment another $100 a month and they turn all "salesman'ish" on you and often loose the relationship you created with the sales associate. Yet, Courtney was just as genuine as Karen and continued the relationship that Karen started. He introduced himself, asked about what we did and talked to us like we were people equal to him. He presented all of the options and went deeper into the explanation of options and how they benefited us more so than anyone has ever done before. We declined a majority of them but with his help we were able to select what would be most beneficial for us and keep our payment comfortable. Overall - As stated in the beginning, this was the best car buying experience we have ever been through. We are so satisfied with our choice to go with Hyundai of New Port Richey. I'm a firm believer that "people buy from people" and the interaction we had with both Karen & Courtney solidify for us that it is possible for "people to sell to people" as well. For the first time we felt like they represented us and had our best interests in mind when dealing with our sale. If you're looking for a car and have an interesting scenario you have to work with, we highly recommend going in an asking for Karen Fitch. Let her know that Josh & Shawn referred you. You will be shocked with the level of service you receive from the associates that make this dealership successful! This is a relationship that will continue in the future for us and when we are ready to replace our second car, it will be a Hyundai from Hyundai of New Port Richey. More

Second purchase of a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Jeena was amazing when we purchased our first Hyundai Santa Fe Sport in July. Everything was done ahead of time and we came out with a beautiful car a Jeena was amazing when we purchased our first Hyundai Santa Fe Sport in July. Everything was done ahead of time and we came out with a beautiful car and a great trade in. Unfortunately that car was hit head on and totaled in mid-September. The good news....Hyundai designs the engine to drop down when hit....otherwise I would be writing this from a hospital instead of walking away without major injury. Consider this a testament to the safety of Hyundais ! We purchased a second one from Jeena in early October. Again, she worked with us and gave us the best deal possible. Had everything ready to go when I got there and was on my way home in an hour and a half a Jeena was amazing, she got me approved while I was at work. Had everything ready to go when I got there and was on my way home in an hour and a half as promised. I even work at a competitor and don't get treated as well as she treated me.
