Sales was fine. ..Service department is a whole other story. They suck!!!! I purchased a 2023 Santa Cruz Limited, brand new from them back in April of 2023. Beginning on 07-27-2025, I had bring my car in three times for the same problem. Story too long to put into a review. After the third time, Megan decided not to return my phone calls to let me know the status of my car. I had to go in and speak to the manager, Sherman Cooper. They had to call other "techs" because they had no idea what was going on. I had to have two electronic oil pumps replaced on this Santa Cruz. Now I am just waiting for the transmission to go out, because it's a known problem on the turbo DCT engine! They don't offer loaners!! After they had my car over a month!!!!! More

We left our car with them for repair of the gear control and two weeks later they had not even determined what the problem was. We left for a trip for two weeks and during that time they determined the iss and two weeks later they had not even determined what the problem was. We left for a trip for two weeks and during that time they determined the issue but didn't order the part as we had to agree to the estimate. They said it was NOT covered under warranty as we caused the issue (?) They had our email address and phone number but never contacted us...we were on a cruise and didn't have phone capability but could receive texts and emails. Upon our return we tried to call and get an status and three times we were told by whoever answered that they would have someone call us back....in each case, no return call so we finally went in. They could not explain why no one ever contacted us with the information to get authorization to move forward. At this point our car was at the dealership for a MONTH with nothing done to it so we took it to another mechanic who verified the part required in two days. Then we took the car back to Hyundai of Orange Park to get the moon roof issue repaired as it WAS under warranty. We made an appointment and they initially said it might be ready that afternoon but be safest to count on noon the next day. We went in mid afternoon to discover it had not been touched!!! They said we were a "drop off" and they had clients "waiting for the cars in the dealership!" My question is "Why make an appointment if they don't get priority over people that come in to wait???" Had they contacted us via email initially regarding the gear control, I would likely have authorized the cost to repair of just under $2,700 but the mechanic we took it to fixed it for $1,200 so we saved and they lost that repair. When explaining to a fellow volunteer why I was leaving early to go pick up the Genesis today, they said they were seriously considering buying a G80 but just changed their mind. We will not return!!! More

The color I wanted wasn’t at this location. They got it from Orlando within 2 days, tinted the windows and today I’m driving home in a shiny, beautiful, new 4 wheel dream. I've purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership, the 2nd one about 8 years ago. The building is the same worn-out structure it was back then. The service dept. area is tiny and outdated. The car lot is so small they can't fit many cars, so most of the inventory is scattered on different lots along Blanding Blvd. This makes browsing for different colors or trim lines very time consuming. As for the sales experience, both the salesman and General Sales Mgr. (Tiago / Glen Owen) lied to me about the tires on the Tucson we were buying. The car doesn't have a spare, so they assured me the tires were run flats. After getting home, I found out they were not. Multiple calls and an email went unanswered. No ethics and no accountability by the Sales Dept. Next was the Finance Dept. (Roberto). We bought the car on Monday and we had to unfreeze our credit report. He "forgot" to run the credit report then and by the time he "remembered" the report was frozen again. On Friday he called in a panic to unfreeze our credit report again so he could complete the loan. Now it's Tuesday and we still don't have an account number for our loan. The whole experience has been a struggle. Needless to say, we're done with them. There are 2 other Hyundai dealers in Jacksonville and I have dealt with both of them. Much nicer facilities, an actual car lot to look at cars and more competent staff. More
