We saw the ads for Hundai of St. Augustine on their website and on cars.com. They had the most competitive prices listed up front compared to other dealers. We came down to see whether there were any "tricks" involved. There were none. They were up front with their prices and negotiations went smoothly. Our sales person was Richard Roberts and he was great! He answered all our basic questions and mentioned a "special" we qualified for. In fact, because of his help, we were able to purchase the upgrade of the car we originally came to look at. He knew everything about the Genesis we purchased and believe me it has some sophisticated additions. In fact, we came in to see him again today and he went over some more of the details. We had a good buying experience and would highly recommend the dealership and especially Richard Roberts. Look for him! More
I spent past week visiting Orlando based car dealerships near where I reside and the experiences were unbelievably time consuming and aggraviting. I was about to give up when I ran across the website for Hy near where I reside and the experiences were unbelievably time consuming and aggraviting. I was about to give up when I ran across the website for Hyundia of St. Augustine early Saturday morning and liked what I was reading, so I jumped in the car and took a ride. I was exiting my car as Paul Smathers was walking across the lot. He walked over, welcomed me to the store and asked if he could be of assistnce. I told him I was looking to replace my company vehicle for a Sonata with better fuel economy and similiar features to what I was used to. We looked at the Sonata Limited and we took one for a ride. The silver one they had was well equiped and we began do talk dollars. I have no time for numbers games and men behind glass barracades playing lets make a deal so I told Paul my budget plus my car as the trade and asked him for a simple yes or no. I had heard over a week of excuses why it was not enough to make the deal and that I would have to settle for lesser of a car so when Paul came back and said he could not meet my offer I was not suprised. What did suprise me was when he told me he could be below my offer. He followed that by expediting the paperwork and sent me back to Orlando with the car on a verbal agreement that my company would provide a check for the balance on Monday. I have already spoken to my wife and my sister about using Hyundia of St. Augustine for future auto purchases. If you are looking for an excellent car and a hassle free car buying experience without all the smoke and mirrors, I recommend taking a ride out of the big city and stopping in to see Paul Smathers at Hyundai of St. Augustine. You will not leave disappointed. Thank you Paul for your professionalism, integrity and for making my experience a joyfilled one. You were a breath of fresh air and a blessing. I love the car and I cannot wait to show it off to the company on Monday. A note to the Owner- You should double Paul's salary for he is worth his weight in gold. Other car salesman should shadow him and learn what it really means to be a true "old school" professional car salesman as it is a rare comodity these days. More

Each of the two times we arrived at the dealership we were greeted by friendly helpful staff. We bought a 2011 Elantra from David Bunn. Very pleased with his demeanor/personality. I would rate our price better but I'm sure I left at least $1000 on the table for the model we got. Also our windshield was broken upon delivery off the truck. Not the dealerships fault I'm sure, but it is broken. More
I bought a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe from this dealership. This ride is amazing. I would put it up against any mid-size SUV in it's class. This is the forth vehicle I have purchased from Hyundai of St Augustine, and they get better with each sale. We recently purchased our 2010 Hyundai Accent from Hyundai of St. Augustine. We had already looked at other dealers in the area and hadn't found anything that met our specifications. Then we pulled into Hyundai and immediately found "our" car. We have rated this dealership and salesman as "excellent" because of the friendly and fair way they delt with us. We have never had a dealer treat us so fairly in the value for our trade-in vehicle or in dealing with us on other aspects of the sale! We were amazed that our vehicle (because of a special program that it was acquired under by Hyundai) included a 10 year, 100,000 mile warrenty and a 5 year roadside assistance package. No other used car dealer even came close to this benefit. We thank Hyundai for a very friendly and pleasurable buying experience. More
