I keep returning because of the great relationship with have formed with 2 of their wonderful salesmen, Demetrius and George...as well as sales manager, Jimmy. We always feel that we get the best deal from this dealership and the experience is always stress free. However, it doesn't end there. Any time I bring my Hyundais in for service or warranty work, dealing with Service Advisors Tunde, Mirena and Danny is also fantastic. I highly recommend Hyundai of xx. Augustine. 5-star rating all the way. More

They are courteous, responsive and their waiting room is clean. I was just taken aback that I wasn’t told my vehicle was ready and waited longer than I should have. My experience with the purchase decision and paperwork was very smooth. Travis did a great job making initial contact on the vehicle I desired and Rich efficiently handled me from there. Justin was very good, the wait time was reasonable. Needed an in cabin air filter, which they said they didn’t have in stick at the time of my service. Let me say that again. MY! VERY! FIRST! TIME! PURCHASING! A! VEHICLE! Clueless to what is needed of me, I put my complete trust into this team (which you should absolutely be able to). I have loved Hyundai since I started driving (10 years ago) I have raved about the service, the people, the vehicles and just all around what a GREAT company Hyundai is. That is until April 30th 2024….. When I had gotten into an accident (my first accident I had ever been in) ONE WEEK after getting a brand new 2024 Hyundai Elantra. A TRUE Beauty! I think there was maybe 11 miles on this vehicle when I drove it off the lot. So what do I do, i contact Hyundai to let them know what had happened and then we realize I don’t have any insurance…. Yep, NO INSURANCE…. I THOUGHT THIS WAS TAKEN CARE OF! I’ve spoken to a lawyer, other car companies and many individuals who CAN NOT EVEN BELIEVE they let me leave without insurance. Oh, and what does the man who sold me the vehicle say you say? …. “You need to get insurance right now and send me the information” My sister was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and my mom has quit her job to take care of my sister full time, so every bill we have is now on me. So, I’m shopping around for the best policy for me because I need a good but cheaper policy due to my situation and at this point I hadn’t found anything under $475. The man from the dealership (I’ll disclose his name if need be in the future) calls me again and says “you need to send me this by the end of my work day” so I then respond “I’m trying my best, you know my situation and I’m searching for the best/cheapest rate that I can find” he then responds (AND THIS MAKES ME SO INCREDIBLY SICK) “it doesn’t matter, you need to get this to me by the end of the day” so I respond a little bit more sternly “ I am searching for the best deal and we wouldn’t be here if you hadn’t let me leave without insurance” how does he respond? He doesn’t. HE HANGS UP ON ME! So I call and ask to speak to the manager (Andrew) they transfer me to him and I leave a voicemail asking for him to return my call and that I’d like to meet with him in person. I get a call from someone in the sales department and he asks what I needed and I said I would like to schedule a time to meet with Andrew. You can hear in his voice that he’s just annoyed by me wanting to meet with Andrew and he ends it with “I’ll let him know, he’s out of town and we’re not sure when he’s coming back” so I say “okay, well please let him know this is an important issue” he said “okay, will do, have a great day” we get off the phone. Now fast forward to June 4th 2024 1pm I still have not heard a single word. I didn’t want to bring this to the internet, but I was left no choice. I truly hope nobody has to go through this kind of situation. Ever. Hyundai, I’m looking forward to your response. More
