Our whole car purchase was absolute nightmare. I brought my little sister and her partner to this dealership and they bought a used 2017 Kia Sportage. I called as soon as the service center opened to let them know the situation only to be told "well you'll have to get it down here." I asked if they had any options for me, seeing as how we just bought this car yesterday and was told "well we don't have towing here, you'll have to just call someone yourself." We weren't able to use our insurance because it was considered a "same day claim". I then had to pay $300 out of pocket to tow the car. The car was looked at for maybe 30 min and we were told it was a loose cable and that all it needed was to be tightened. We left again only to have the exact same issue the next morning. So again I called as soon as the service center was open at 730am and was told that I had to wait until 9am for Brandon to get in since he's who we were working with and that they would tell him to call me when he got in. 945 rolls around, no call, so I call in. He basically tells me the same thing he told me the day before which was to get the car back to Infiniti. He added that if they couldn't fix it then they would take it to a Kia to get it fixed but if I wanted I could just "take it to a kia myself." At this point I'm very frustrated and I let Brandon know that I wasn't going to pay another $300 to get the car towed after being told the car was fine and that we have only had the car 2 days and havent even gotten to use it. He tells me he'll "talk to the powers that be" and call me back. Another hour goes by and he calls me to tell me that he's sending someone out at 1130. Which is also very frustrating because just yesterday i had to pay $300 because they "don't have towing on site". Then at 1120 he calls me and says "actually our guy cant get to you until 230 but if he cant get there today he'll definitely get there tomorrow." I ask him if he has a time estimate for tomorrow and he says "no he'll just call you tomorrow." at which point I tell him as kindly and as patiently as I can that "tomorrow" isn't good enough. I re-explain we just bought the car two days ago and that they said it was fine yesterday. I also shared that i shouldn't have had to pay to tow it once let alone twice. Brandon then tells me that he'll "talk to some folks" and call me back. Over 2 hours goes by and I don't hear anything so I call in and someone tells me that they actually are sending someone after all and that they should be there between 2 and 230. They take the car and initially we are quoted a two day turnaround time which turned into a 5 day turnaround time with EXTREMELY limited communication. We also called countless times to get an update and they never answered. When we finally went to pick up the car, no one was available to talk to. the sales people assured me that the service manager and the client loyalty manager would be there the following day. We went back that following day and again, no one was there. Ultimately, this car was supposed to be a sense of peace of mind and that's all gone. Twice now it has failed us and I don't have much faith that it's going to work going forward, nor do I have much faith that we're going to get help if anything goes wrong with it. My little sister is pregnant, they've been saving up for a car for a while to make sure that they have something reliable to be able to get them to and from their appointments to make sure their baby is okay and for her partner to be able to go to work to make the money needed to take care of them. Waking up and having to miss work because the car didn't start really had such a rippling effect and I don't feel like the service center took it very seriously. I don't know if it's because we bought a $14k car when all the rest of the cars in your lot are worth triple or because we're young or because we're people of color, but this has been such a horrible experience.
