I hate car shopping. And I hate dealing with car dealerships even more. But we were interested in this vehicle and made an appointment to go see it. It was a 90 mile dri And I hate dealing with car dealerships even more. But we were interested in this vehicle and made an appointment to go see it. It was a 90 mile drive which took us several hours. When we arrived the vehicle we were interested in was sitting out front, ready, and running so that it was already cool when we got into it. We were greeted by Tim Border, and he gave us a suggested test drive route. We drove the car and noted that there was a generator light on in the car. We were interested in the vehicle and asked them to run the numbers. They did, offering us a very fair allowance on our trade in, and got numbers that suited us. Several things stood out in this experience for me. We were hoping to drive our new vehicle home, but there was a generator light on, and Tim informed me that the owner was not comfortable with us driving it home several hours away in the dark, for fear that the generator light indicated a bad alternator and we would end up stranded. They insisted on keeping the car to get it into the service center the next day to check the generator light. They then offered to repair the car, (at no charge) and DELIVER the vehicle to us after it was repaired so we didn't have to make the trip a second time. The financing paperwork was the fastest I had ever experienced for any loan. There was a slight mix up on the interest rate and it ended up being slightly higher than they had originally quoted us, so they altered the price of the vehicle in order to account for the raised interest rate, and to keep the payments within a few dollars of what they originally quoted us. They even took our picture with the our new vehicle to commemorate the experience! I received a message this morning to inform us that the alternator did indeed need repaired, so I was even more grateful that they insisted on keeping the vehicle to be checked. Overall, it was an extraordinarily positive experience, and that is saying a lot from someone who absolutely despises car shopping and all that it entails. Thank you very much for being concerned for our safety, taking pride in your integrity, and providing customer service above and beyond. More
