We had a good experience with Jackie Cooper. I have purchased cars from several different dealerships over the last 20 years. The experience was exactly what purchasing from a dealership should I have purchased cars from several different dealerships over the last 20 years. The experience was exactly what purchasing from a dealership should be. As a consumer, I have found the experience to be significantly better when a deal is struck prior to visiting the dealership. I rated the dealership 4 stars, everything was ready on time, the staff was friendly and courteous, and the facility was superb. Our sales person was very professional and personable. He kept us informed and comfortable, I greatly appreciate his time with us. One critique I would have is regarding the Tesla we purchased. He and I reviewed the vehicle for a feature I was interested in, Full Self Driving. Though no fault of his own, as we reviewed it together we determined the vehicle did in fact have full self driving. After getting the vehicle home, we discovered that when a Tesla is sold to a 3rd party dealer the full self diving software is then stripped from the vehicle by Tesla through the traditional means of the dealership taking ownership of the vehicle. This was only known to me after I brought the vehicle home. Your sales people should be informed of this going forward so they do not inadvertently tell their customers that is not true. That being said, I have discovered that, if and when a dealership takes ownership of a Tesla with the valuable full self driving, and it is properly transfered over to a valid Tesla account when taking ownership it will preserve the full self driving software and added value to the vehicle. This should be a standard practice with dealerships. It benefits both the dealership in value and allows a customer to purchase the software at a discounted price as the current Full Self drive driving software is $12,500. More
