Purchasing a new truck from Jaffarian Toyota was a pleasant experience. My main contact was Carl Rogers. I also interacted with Dennis Pietro and Jack Dipietro. All three individules were courteous,professional,believed in the product they were selling,and were able to answer any questions that I had. During my initial negotiations with Carl and Dennis I did not feel any pressure to commit to an early decision. I purchased the truck three days following my initial visit. There is an interminable amount of waiting involved in the process, which is extremely irritating. Mike was very helpful, but he didn't disclose various fees, which may have been by design, in which case the process, which is extremely irritating. Mike was very helpful, but he didn't disclose various fees, which may have been by design, in which case his behavior was duplicitous, but finding out about these extra fees after the negotiation was complete was an extremely distressing surprise in any case. The approach of pretending to negotiate and pretending to provide customer service when the reality is that there is really no negotiation and lots of waiting around is not a good business model b/c all of the dissembling leads to a lack of trust. More transparency is strongly recommended. More
