I met Louis through a phone call looking for a used Volvo S60. He sent me a Carfax report and receipts of all the work done on the car at the dealership. We spoke twice, he was friendly and helpful. I made an appointment based on his information about a particular car they had in stock. Louis was punctual to the minute. At the lot we initially went over the car and some of its functions then took it for a half hour drive. We return to the dealership, he asks me leading questions to find out if I liked the car. We do some mild negotiating and Louis is still smiling, happy. No dealership silliness like small desks, call in the manager- the usual. He did want a credit card to show his manager that I was serious, which is tiresome. I drove 2.5 hours to look at the car, I thought that presented me as serious. Whatever. There was no pressure what so ever. We agreed on a price and began the paperwork. Note; I was perhaps the only customer in the place- bring a book. The paperwork was in order, the car cleaned and ready to go. All in all a pretty nice experience. Would I buy another car from Jaffarain, maybe. Another car from Louis? Most likely. He was straightforward, happy and relaxed. I felt pretty much the same driving home. More
