We asked not once but twice about putting a down payment on car to hold the vehicle until he could get things set up. We were told that they did not hold cars. My son texted the salesman Monday morning before they opened and said he wanted the car and would have check ready. He told the guy he would not be able to make it til Tuesday morning. Saleman said he would have the car cleaned, filled with gas when we arrived. That pretty much said, the car's yours. Well, an hour and a half into our three hour trip to get the car, my son receives a text stating. Hold off, there is a hold on the car, What? right. We were told we couldn't put a hold on car. This is all occurring after we have been sitting in a traffic jam for almost an hour. Then the saleman sends my son another car, almost 10000 more than the one he wanted, wrong color, etc. what was he thinking. Will not recommend this dealership to anyone. Very big let down. More

I purchased a 2014 GMC Sierra SLT last month and we'll never EVER work with anyone else in the future! The effort they made to make sure my truck was in great condition & how fast they acted on my concerns I couldn't ask for better people to work with. The car was in the shop for 11 days and the warranty company was only authorizing 4 days for the work to be completed. On the 11th day I received a call from the service department stating my car fell off a lift. I went to look at it and took some pictures to show my husband. We ended up purchasing a vehicle from another dealership because Jake Sweeney's general manager told me they would give us an additional $1000.00 rebate and a discount on the warranty. He told me to take it or leave it. If we totaled it on the street we wouldn't even get that. We didn't total it, they did. The car was in great shape and just needed a couple things done which was warranty work. I have the loss of the vehicle due to Jake Sweeney and then they will only sell me a car if they are profiting from it. I was the only one taking the loss and I wasn't involved in the incident. This did not seem like a fair offer or a good way of doing business. More
It took 3 weeks to get my car back and they broke things I originally took my car in to get its CV joint repaired. When I came to pick up my car later that afternoon and paid the $1200 in full, one of the dealership drivers accidentally backed into my front bumper. The dealership took my car back in to repair the bumper they had damaged. A week and a half later they notified me that the bumper was fixed. I showed up to pick up my car to find that they had replaced the BACK bumper not the front. The dealership representative was apologetic and took my car in yet again to repair the front bumper that they had originally damaged. A week later they drop off my repaired car and the dealership driver backed into a parking sign at my office, chipping the paint on my rear bumper. The dealership takes my car in yet again to repair the paint. I get my car back the next day only to find that the park assist sensors had been damaged during the repair. At this point it has been 22 days since I took my car in and $1200; I still do not have a repaired car. I understand that mistakes happen, but the complete lack of attention to detail has taken me back. I feel that my time is not valuable to this dealership and would hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone. More

When they brought the car back the mech got out in a dirty uniform and took a dirty greasy towel to wipe off the steering wheel and interior. Tried to contact the manger with no response. I tried one more time to schedule a warranty issue and was questioned about the Corvette tech and and a rude scheduler. Asked to talk to a manager and was told they would call back ....still waiting on the call. I would not recommend especially for a Corvette. More

Lies, dirty tactics, and sleezy management team They told me about 1 truck and had me drive down from Columbus. Once i got there, the truck magically cost more than they said. I think thats the definition of bait and switch. During the paperwork phase of this, they said to me there would be no payment penalties and there were.... on the back of the contract no one looks at is where it was written. There was also a fee to have a loan through this specific bank. On the paperwork it says amount financed. Thats not the actual amount financed, you have to look further down the page to see the amount with all the fees added. When I called a few months later to get a better idea of what actually happened, i was told the guy who worked my deal was fired for doing stuff like this. They said i would be getting a call to make it right. James Dalton called at 1030am. He heard my story and said he could help. He said Jake Sweeney values their reputation and they would make it right with me. He said he would call me by noon. They would buy back my truck and upgrade me to a better truck. By 1pm, i still had not heard from him. So at 115pm i called James. He said he was finishing a deal but would call me back shortly. Another hour goes by. I called back again. He said he would get back to me by the end of the day with a deal. At 630pm he called and said it would have to be monday. At 3pm monday i followed up again. Now he sent me a string of nasty text messages stating its not his problem I didnt read the contact. I then sent an email to Greg Sweeney, Josh Sweeney, and Jim Ackerman. None of them could even spare a few seconds for a response or a phone call. i get they are in business to make money. I see they dont really care about their customers either. The problem I have is their tactics are dirty. They really make that xxxxxxx car dealer perception come to life. I find it odd that some of the positive reviews are showing posted 1 week ago, and the response from owner shows 5 months ago..... looks very fishy to me! Especially considering the dishonest tactics they use They did pay my $195 loan fee back... but nothing on pre payment penalty or an offer to buy back my truck like they originally promised. They have also banned me from their facebook page. I put my interactions in under the review jake sweeney section and they blocked me. Sounds like they dont actually want real feedback. Just the fake reviews they post themselves. Promised a phone call from the management team to resolve my issues on 9/6. BIG SURPRISE!!! No call back!!! More
