I tried previously to respond to you (Privately) over my issue with your pre-owned department; your "Management" either just ignored it, or you simply overlooked it. Since that didn't work, I will leave this reply on the public forum. Maybe that will serve to illicit a more comprehensive response! When I purchased my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk last month from your pre-owned department, I inquired of the sales person (Melanie) if everything was operable. I was led to believe it was. Within the first 24 hours, I discovered - along with the faulty battery - the GPS Nav, Compass, Temperature readout and the Auto Update on the Clock were malfunctioning as well (all interrelated faults, BTW). I attempted to have this discrepancy adjusted in whatever manner y'all would agree. HOWEVER, according to Melanie's texts, -other than the battery - there would be NO adjustments made, due to the fact that the sale was an AS IS-NO WARRANTY transaction, AND - paraphrasing her words- ..."since the CarPlay function of the radio unit is still operable, you can use your iPhone maps to navigate, and my manager will not agree to what you have proposed concerning the radio replacement"..... I can appreciate that, BUT that was entirely NOT the point! When I was told that everything worked, only to discover it did not, I feel I was flat out lied to (a practice -coincidentally- not generally unfamiliar to used car sales staff)!! Even though I like the vehicle very much, had I been made aware of these discrepancies, I would either have negotiated a far more reasonable price, or I would not have made the purchase at all!! My response to you before- Privately- merely asked that you at least consider compensating me for HALF the cost of replacing the faulty NAV radio... at a considerable discount from a factory new unit (totaling approximately $1300-1500, installed, VS a factory new radio at approximately $3000 installed!!) I felt that a $650-$750 refund from you would have been a fair and honorable settlement. Your Management failed to even respond to that offer, so I can only assume you really do NOT care whether your customers are satisfied, nor do you truly 'value my insights', as you stated in your previous response. (You already have my money, so CAVEAT EMPTOR!!) Therefore, my opinions and expectations of James Woods Auto Park remains as disappointing as before. (NOTE: I have procured a replacement for the faulty radio unit, and am preparing to have it installed and activated, simply because I WANT an operable GPS unit, which has GLOBAL coverage, as opposed to CELL service coverage, which is still spotty (at best) in several locations that I wish to travel with this vehicle)! IF you truly desire to discuss it further, please feel free to call my cell phone. I'm sure you have it on file somewhere!! Otherwise, this is the last correspondence I suspect I'll have with you people..... EVER!!
