I purchased my truck last year, one of the easiest and comfortable experiences I have had buying a new truck. Everything from programming a new key fob, recall service involving the computer to picking up my truck for an oil change and inspection sticker. My 2017 Ford Explorer XLT had L LED headlight out. I took it to Jannell on 8/11/25. I dealt with David Bray. I was told I needed a new headlight and was quoted $1300 for just the headlight. I chose I took it to Jannell on 8/11/25. I dealt with David Bray. I was told I needed a new headlight and was quoted $1300 for just the headlight. I chose not to have the service done at Jannells and paid the $200 headlight diagnostic fee. I took the car to Sullivan Tire. They ran diagnostics and discovered the headlight was fine. I needed a body control module. After having the BCM installed and programmed the headlight was fine. There can only 3 reasons for the answer given to me about needing a new headlight. 1. Jannell didn't run a diagnostic test before telling me i needed a $1300 headlight. 2 They are incompetent. 3 They flat out lied about needing a new headlight. They charged me for useless incorrect information. More
