Professional work but the Shuttle Service is SLOW :-( I arrived at 9 PM and was greeted and processed professionally by the service desk employee. A shuttle drove me back my office (only 2 miles from Jay Wolf Toyota). Again, the shuttle driver was very nice and professional. The unfortunate experience started when I was notified at 3:03 PM the work was complete and the shuttle would pick me up shortly. I clocked-out of work and waited in the lobby of my office (used my personal leave time). After I made three calls to the service center (who reassured me the shuttle was on the way), I was finally picked up at 4:40 PM. Unfortunately, my kids missed their track practice due to the wait. The work on the van (Sienna airbag recall) looked good as the vehicle appeared nice and clean when I finally arrived. More

They were very thorough with their explanation of vehicle features, pros/cons, financing options, and additional maintenance packages. I never felt overwhelmed with information or that either employee was being pushy regarding my decision making process. I would highly recommend this dealership to others looking to purchase a vehicle. More
Seeds of Doubt Have been taking my '13 Avalon in for general oil/tire service about 4-5 times now. I drive lots of highway miles. Service advisor started offering 65k mile services (replace coolant, replace brake fluid, etc.). I pointed out the owners manual does not indicate these are necessary and in fact, points out that Toyota uses Extra Long Life Coolant and should not be changed till over 100k miles. I was explained about "optimum conditions". Here's the problem - I was an engineer for one of the Big 3 Auto Manufacturers based in Detroit. I helped write some of the language in owners manuals. It's definitely in the manual for a reason. These are seeds of doubt making me wonder how much I can trust. I understand the need to make profits in business - that's part of the deal. I also compared previous receipts of the same service. The price per quart of oil increased this time and a new charge showed up for a Shop Repair Order of $4.91. This was not on previous receipts. I had presented a coupon from a mailer and between the oil price and the new charge, the savings from the coupon were down to about $2.00. Is it small stuff? Sure - it is. But when it's time for something bigger - do I trust I'm getting a straight story? Just disappointed. I had high hopes from previous visits. More

The sales experience was fine and I think Alex did his job well. The issues I had that made my car buying experience less than stellar was with the finance manager, Rena. As a first time buyer there was a definite lack of education provided regarding the purchase process. I was not informed there was a cap on the amount of money you could put on a debit card at a dealership. I felt judged for not knowing this. When I came back to the dealership with a very large check there were 2 very condescending comments made about how I should get checks of my own for future reference. Rena said several times while going over the paperwork that one of her priorities was customer retention. She wanted to make sure that people continued to value the service they received. Based on my experience with her, Jay Wolfe did likely lose a customer. I want to make it clear, the sales experience was fine. However I felt the condescending manner of the Finance Manager was unacceptable. More
