Bad pre-pay online procedure which requires clicking 12-15 pictures of Stairs, Fire Hyrdrant, Motorcycle with NO END IN SIGHT. Skipping pictures causes more pictures to appear. I skipped the first one only because the light gray stairs were unclear. I found this type of thing I had to go through a warped sense of humor with a touch of SADISM. SICK! I hope I never have to order another Toyota part again. I drove to this Dealer and paid cash. And the last time I visited Parts and Services, I purchased a Toyota tote bag. They asked for my mailing address, and foolishly gave it. Some unknown car service or roadside services kept hounding me by mailing propaganda to my address wanting me to buy their contract. It made me feel like a target. Ugh! Toyota cars are made better than what their Parts Department does, and the length they will go to hound customers to squeeze money for a car which hasn't yet racked up its first 25,000 mile yet, which is the most problem-free period of a new car. Jeff Hunter Toyota in Waco continues to disappoint. My most recent experience was with Alan in the parts department. I called at 11:30 a.m. on Friday to check availability on parts for two vehicles: My most recent experience was with Alan in the parts department. I called at 11:30 a.m. on Friday to check availability on parts for two vehicles: a 2021 4Runner and a 1997 Land Cruiser. As expected, they had only half of what I needed for the 4Runner and nothing for the Land Cruiser — which was understandable. However, both parts were available at another dealership I was willing to drive to. Alan assured me that if I paid for the parts then and there, they would be available for pickup the following day (Saturday). I paid via push text while on the phone and ended the call with, “Thank you, see you tomorrow.” Saturday morning, I called at 9:39 a.m. and again at 10:20 a.m. Both times I was transferred to the parts department and sent straight to voicemail. I left a message with my name, phone number, and reason for the call. I arrived at the dealership at 1:30 p.m., only to learn the parts department had closed at 1:00 p.m. Cody from sales listened to my frustration and kindly offered to call Alan directly to see if anyone else had access to the parts I had already paid for. Unfortunately, the parts were not available — but I appreciated Cody’s effort. At no point did Alan mention the Saturday hours for the parts department or that my order might not be ready before closing. I also never received a call back from the voicemail I left. Even a simple heads-up from the person who answered my call — such as letting me know they were short-staffed or unable to answer phones — would’ve helped set expectations. More

The entire experience was the best I have had in purchasing a new vehicle. Non-pushy, no burdensome repeat calls, no nonsense runaround. This was the quickest I have experienced. I spent over six hours in a Ford dealership purchasing a new vehicle. Jeff Hunter Toyota is by far the best dealership experience.
