I went to the dealer they had me shuffling between vendors at the end they asked me to complete an online application which I was hesitant at first but I finally decided to complete it. We set up an appointment after communicating for a couple of days. We asked the actual condition of the car. She said she personally checked it and it was in great condition no dents or scratches. She said it would be out front when we arrived. So we drove 2 hours and when we arrived the car wasn't even at the dealership. So we waited 45 minutes and when it arrived it was badly damaged on the passenger side. When we asked her why she treated us this way she didn't say a word. Just laughed in our faces. Alex Rowland made our visit very efficient and enjoyable. He listened patiently to our situation and gave reasonable responses to our questions. Alex made sure the car was delivered sparkling clean, and explained the electronics to us. We also want to salute the Sales Mgr. who made the deal happen by negotiating fairly, and most of all, offering sage advice for the best financing arrangements. He saved the deal, and offered good counsel to us, all of which was completely appropriate. Mike in F & I made the paperwork flow and helped us to manage a good warranty plan. Everyone involved made the process impressive and professional. What's more, Mike called us the next day to invite us to return for some uncompleted service that the Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Warranty covered. The Service Dept. carried out some needed upgrades for the benefit of our use. That is Above and Beyond Customer Service. Finally, I want to salute Luis Romero who was not there this day, but influenced our coming in with his service to us last year. I had a fantastic experience when I got my vehicle from Jensen Nissan my vehicle from Jensen Nissan. i don't do a lot of driving so in the last 6 months i have not yet hi 5,000 miles. i went in to the se Jensen Nissan my vehicle from Jensen Nissan. i don't do a lot of driving so in the last 6 months i have not yet hi 5,000 miles. i went in to the service appointment that was scheduled on my purchase date. I figured i would have the oil changed and have the tires rotated. I was hoping that this experience would be as good as my buying experience was. When i drove in, i met with Ashley a service rep. This is where is my visit started badly. Ashley could not tell me how long synthetic oil was good for between changes. One would assume every service rep. would know this. so we talked about what i was going to have done on my car, Oil Change/tire rotation, I had declined the changing of the air filters. I added the wash and wax also. I asked Ashley how long it would be and she responded about an hour. I said OK I'll wait. After waiting an hour and 15 mins, I went to the parts area where you can see into the service bays. I could see my car in a bay with the flashers running. I did not see anyone near my car, after watching this for 10 mins, i stepped put into the service area next to where they change the oil. I was there for about 5 mins when Ashley came over to me and asked if I was looking for an update. I told her yes and reminded her she told me it would be about an hour and its been over the hour already. She walked to where my car was and came back in about 5 mins later and tole me they were doing the "recall". I said What Recall. she then told me there was a recall on the vehicle and electrical programing had to be updated. I asked here why wasn't i informed about the recall? no email, no text message. She said she doesn't know. i asked how much longer is this going to be. she said as soon as the recall updating is done. i asked her if the car wash/wax had been done yet. she said she didn't know, but would go find out. I stepped back into the waiting area assuming that i was not. supposed to be standing the service area. Ashley did not come and tell me the status, I had to go back put into the service area to find out. I was told that the car wash had not been done but she would have it pushed to the front of the line when the recall was done. At 11:57 just under 3 hours from when I dropped off the car Ashley came out to tell me the car was ready. Again I asked her about the recall, and why would they do work on my car without asking me. This is when she informed me that it was open the work order I signed. Maybe I am too naive, because i assumed that the items we talked about were the only items on the work order. So it seems that Ashley added something to my work order that we DID NOT discuss.. I again reminded her the she told me it was going to take about an hour to do my car, and its been 3 hours. to which she responded that "I don't know how long the recall takes". Had she told me about the recall up front instead of just putting it on the work order, and given me a more realistic estimate on the time involved I would have been able to make other plans, as sitting in the dealerships showroom for 3 hours is not my idea of fun. To say the least I was not satisfied with Ashley's lack of knowledge and professionalism. I am not sure if I want to go back to Jenkins for service unless they do something about these lapses in customer service. Alex, the Sales Rep, did a fantastic job with me, and I would recommend people to go to him, unfortunately the followup service is where people have the most contact with a dealership. if other people are getting the same level of customer service I received it hurts the reputation. And speaking of customer service, that night when I got home I sent an email to Rahshon Clark the General Manager telling him of my experience that day. As of today i have not even received an acknowledgement of the receipt of the email much less an apology. So far based on this service depart More
