I purchased a new Equinox at Jennings. I was impressed with the way I was greeted every time I walked through the door. I worked through Internet Sales and had Adel as my salesman. He was attentive, concerned and kept in contact during the weeks before I bought. He wasn't pushy as I've come to experience with some car dealers. I got a fair price, a great car and I owe it all to Adel. He didn't play the usual 'games' that car salesman have been known to do. He spent a great deal of time with me explaining all of the features of my car and I appreciate his care and concern. It was the best buying experience of my thirty ywears of buying automobiles. Jennings Chevrolet is an excellent dealership that is extremely easy to work with. I live in Maryland and flew in to purchase a Camaro ZL1. We recently leased a 2012 Cruze from Jennings Chevrolet. We worked with Alan Stern who was polite, professional and knowledgeable. We also had the pleasure of working with John Schmidt who provided me with lease payments for 3 models of the Cruze on various occasions. I never thought that I would say this about buying a car, but it was a FANTASTIC experience! Both my husband and I agree that much of this was due the exceptional service and patience of our dealer, Chris H but it was a FANTASTIC experience! After looking at cars for over a year, we had been to most of the Chevy and Toyota dealerships in Chicago and along the North Shore. We continuously walked out of most of these dealerships feeling that the dealers either lacked much knowledge about the cars they were selling or were simple condescending or rude. Chris however, was deeply knowledgeable about the Chevy Volt that that we were interested in and patiently answered our many questions. We felt that we were honestly being taken care of and would continue to be if we bought a car from him and from this dealership. After doing a lot of online research about the reputation of dealerships (and there are a lot of crummy dealerships out there), I decided to visit the Ford dealership in Glenview and a Chevrolet dealership e of dealerships (and there are a lot of crummy dealerships out there), I decided to visit the Ford dealership in Glenview and a Chevrolet dealership elsewhere. During the Ford test drive, we passed Jennings Chevrolet's storage yard. I didn't really feel like driving a great distance to visit the Chevrolet dealership I had selected online, so I decided to go over to Jennings. I wasn't really sure where they were located, so I hadn't done any online research beforehand. From the moment I stepped in, I felt like a welcomed addition to the Jennings customer family. Josh Dessent patiently listened to what I was looking for in a vehicle, and in no time, I was test driving an Equinox. I liked it much more than the Ford Edge, but I wasn't quite ready to buy until I had more time to think about it. Josh was very knowledgeable and never pressured me to buy the vehicle. In fact, no one did. The folks at this dealership are very laid back in a good way, and they do not use high pressure sales tactics that I really can't stand dealing with. They made my experience very enjoyable. In less than a week I was back, ready to buy. Again, Josh was very helpful and patient as we rode out to the storage yard to look over their stock for a vehicle that fit my requirements. While they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, I was willing to compromise on a few features and went home a happy Jennings customer. This time I had some interaction with Dion Fain and Davis De Treville, and both took the time to explain the numbers to me and were very honest and straightforward. I would certainly recommend Jennings Chevrolet to anyone. My experience was very enjoyable, dealing with honest, straightforward, no-pressure people. In a world of corporate-owned chain car dealerships chasing the almighty dollar, the family-owned (since 1958) Jennings Chevrolet is a breath of fresh air. More
