Great car and friendly staff! I was looking for a 2016 AMG GTS in the States, and because I'm overseas, was limited to web searching. I used Cars.com and found Jidd Motors had a R I was looking for a 2016 AMG GTS in the States, and because I'm overseas, was limited to web searching. I used Cars.com and found Jidd Motors had a Red model that suited my needs and was priced far better than other dealers. After brief email exchanges, my salesman, Jeff, was able to secure the car I wanted for a refundable deposit. He assured me the car was in pristine condition, sent the Carfax and sent me about 35 pics and a video. I was satisfied and made the purchase. The purchase process was easy and quick. No real snags at all, other than it took me a little time to get a signed bill of sale showing I paid the car off. I kept receiving a bill of sale saying I still owed a lot of money, but after a few more emails, we got it squared away. The shopping process was pretty good overall, but left a little to be desired in communication. The car arrived about 35 days after purchase at the port in Germany where I live, in the same pristine shape I was told it was. However, I had to pay significant port fees. I was led to believe that my shipping cost to Jidd would cover everything except foreign taxes...But I was billed for other carrier fees as well. I did not get good resolution on the shipping fees, and have taken it up with my bank. However, I credit most of the problem to lack of communication with the transportation team. When I asked questions I was routinely comforted that I shouldn't worry and everything was working well. Because I was overseas and having to communicate through WhatsApp and email, it added to the confusion. In the end, the car was a 100/100, the salesman was a 100/100, the finance team was a 90/100, the Transportation team was an 80/100, and the overall experience, to include communication, was a 90/100. I would come back again to Jidd...just hopefully from Stateside next time,.to ease the communication challenges. Thanks for the beautiful car! More
