I highly recommended Jim Butler Chevrolet, we have purchased three vehicles from them However I was disappointed last week when I had my oil changed. I was initially greeted in the driveway by a nice older gentleman. He guided me into the garage, then a young lady came over and sanitized the driver's seat, door and steering wheel as a COVID-19 preventive. Afterwards I stood in the garage next to my vehicle for nearly 30 minutes waiting for a service department rep. I'm not sure why it took SO long since I had an 8 a.m. appointment. Eventually I was assisted and by Mike Johnson. While in the waiting room, I received a text message from him, informing me to contact him if I had any concerns or questions regarding my vehicle. As a side note, it's sad Jim Butler doesn't have their own car wash. I was offered a voucher for a free car wash at the near-by Philips 66, but that car was SUCKS. It doesn't even clean the back of your vehicle. I would love to see Jim Butler switch to the Tiger Express Wash on Majestic Drive in Fenton. That car wash is amazing and they do a superb job, or better yet, figure out a place to build their own car wash for the convenience of the customer. More

I called to make an Appt for my check engine light which had come on. They couldn’t fit me in for one week. I made the Appt but then took it elsewhere to see what the problem was since my car was only parti had come on. They couldn’t fit me in for one week. I made the Appt but then took it elsewhere to see what the problem was since my car was only partially covered under warranty. I found out the problem and discovered that it should be covered so I kept my Appt. When I arrived, I was told that it would take 2-3 days for a technician to even see my car. Really? I had an Appt. I made it a week ago. Why will it take an additional 2-3 days? All they had to do was plug it in and read the problem. I asked if I could take my car and they could call me when they had a technician available to do the work. I was told “that isn’t how it works.” Well, I left it. But let me tell you how an Appt works. You see my car when I make an Appt. So I had to call the GM of the dealership to explain to him what an Appt meant and he made sure that my car was seen same day. The service dept has been terrible when it comes to being seen on time for years. The GM assured me that he is working on the problem and appreciated my bringing this to his attention. I refuse to take anything to service at this dealership for a while until they have time to resolve their issues. More

I will not return to this dealership for any reason. My experience there was not what I had hoped. This dealership was a 40 minute drive from me and upon arriving at my scheduled appointment time, I was to experience there was not what I had hoped. This dealership was a 40 minute drive from me and upon arriving at my scheduled appointment time, I was told that there would be a roughly 2-3 hour wait time for an oil change and tire rotation. I was also told that it would cost roughly $60. Both of these seemed outrageous to me, however since I had already spent the 40 minutes driving, I didn't want to waste my trip. After I agreed to go ahead with the service, I then found out that I would have to wait for my vehicle outside due to COVID. Yet again, this seemed ridiculous to me. As I've been in three different dealerships since COVID began, and none of them required you to sit outside to wait on your vehicle. I did end up waiting about 2 hours for my vehicle outside and paid for my service. But I will not be returning to Jim Butler Chevrolet. The least that they could have done is inform me about the expected wait time before I had arrived. I did receive a confirmation text before I arrived, so I can't think that sending an estimated wait time would have been that difficult. More
I have a 2007 Pontiac vibe that has a passenger airbag recall. I called for an appointment, scheduled time in and Service advisor ,Mike Johnson talked to parts department to confirm part was in stock, sh recall. Not a terrible thing but is disappointing. More
