Thank you very much for your feedback, Gene. We schedule in this way because many problems that customers experience with their vehicles can be corrected quickly with small repairs (or routine maintenance) by a technician. Technicians typically have a much shorter wait time on their tickets, since they have shorter time jobs. If the problem is not able to be fixed by a technician, it is escalated to a Journeyman (who handles bigger, often more technical jobs), in which case there can be a wait to be seen. This may have been the case with your vehicle repairs.

Nicholle, After doing some more investigating, I was able to find that (while the estimate may have been more) the charges including what was covered by insurance was actually $891.45. The additional differences also included more extensive replacements on different parts of the vehicle. While I do agree that an additional oil change + tire rotation was offered in error, it is our policy to suggest appropriate recommended services to our customers to ensure that all vehicles are being brought to peak safety and performance conditions. Our customers, of course, are always welcome to decline services. It is simply our job to recommend. That being said, we do apologize for the service advisor not using more tact during your interactions. We certainly don't ever want our customers to feel as though we don't treat them with the utmost respect. That issue has absolutely been addressed with Doug to make sure that situation does not happen again. Again, I do very much appreciate your feedback and hope that my above explanation clears up any confusion about our recommended services.
