Thank you for sharing your experience with us, William. We're very sorry to hear that there was not more communication on our part to let you know that the key itself had been delayed in arriving. We have been experiencing difficulties getting some parts in as a result of the transportation strike within GM. We are glad we were able to program the key fob (which can take up to 2 hours by itself because it is programmed remotely through GM) and get the oil change completed. While it is true that we were unable to get your vehicle to have the same problems for us that you experienced, we were able to reprogram the transmission control module, which corrected the problem. We did attempt to get this repair covered under warranty for you, but GM is very strict about what is and is not covered through their warranties. We can assure you that we performed the repairs and attempted to address your concerns as quickly as possible, and we apologize for the delays. The recall that you had done on your vehicle was to reset and update the computer system that turns on the CEL. Normally, this recall resolves the CEL being on and there are not additional problems.
