Bad experience My car was not fixed right the first time. I pulled into my garage and antifreeze leak. I traced problem to the reservoir tank. I brought the car back next morning at 7:30am and picked up loaner car. I get a call and was quoted $330 for the re repair. I thought that it was still under factory warranty. I was charged another diagnostic fee and paid for the loaner car. I lost 2 hours pay because not fixed right the first time. I picked up the part my self and fixed it myself in 10 minutes for a $50 part. I will never be back again. I was More

On phone , I was told, no more than an hour. When signing in , I was told 35-45 minutes.. 2 hours later, after seeking out an answer, my vehicle was immediately ready.. so how long had it been finished with me still pacing too leave!! Oil change sticker showed issue with my tires and this was also NOT communicated with me until I saw the red X on the sticker in my car. Service has always been a big selling point for my family, having purchased 6 vehicles from Jim Butler in the past 9 years. Incredibly disappointing experience. Price for repair given on phone (after finally getting a call back 4 days later) was several hundred dollars more than the already ridiculous price quoted for the RE-REPAIR of the VERY SAME REPAIR done previously. I've been considering trading in my vehicle- I'm re-considering where I will be trading after this experience. More

Equinox ECU issue We came in with an issue we initially thought was a transmission problem or a computer problem we experienced earlier this year. Kim H was very quick We came in with an issue we initially thought was a transmission problem or a computer problem we experienced earlier this year. Kim H was very quick to help us and stayed in very prompt contact with us as the car was looked at, as they checked the warranty and as the service was done. They made sure that the work was covered under warranty and took care of everything very quickly. No one was able to diagnose the issue In the car up to this point, so we were very happy to see them diagnose it with a possible ECU problem and replace the ECU. The car is running great now and we haven't had any issues with it. More

When I checked in I was told it would be a 90 minute wait. I only had one day off and had another appointment. I thought I could do the oil change before that. I wasn't told when I made the appointment that it would take that long. I called and had the other appointment moved back an hour. In the end, it took so long for the car I finally had to cancel my original appointment. It wasn't clear to me if it was a bad day or that's how long it usually takes, because I have never waited that long anywhere else, and it was my first time at Jim Butler. If I had known that I certainly would have arranged my day differently. The workers were very polite, but that didn't make up for my anxiety and time I will have to take to get another appointment that I had originally had time off for. More
