We do apologize that our technician or drivers didn't return your AC and radio to the settings it came in with. The 44 minutes on your truck was likely from your truck running during some of the services performed, as only 1 mile was put on your vehicle during the visit. Normally the 90 minute wait time is for the oil change and tire rotation alone, not including the recall. Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to provide some more detailed information about this policy. When a vehicle is brought in with a concern that is potentially under warranty, we still have to diagnose the cause of the problem before we are able to determine with certainty if the repair will be covered. If the repair is, in fact, under warranty and gets repaired at the dealership, the $99 diagnostic fee is covered. If the repair is NOT under warranty, the $99 goes towards the cost of the repair. If we are unable to duplicate the problem or if the concern is considered normal operation, the diagnostic fee is the responsibility of the customer. This is GM's policy which we are required to follow. It does not benefit the dealership either way to repair vehicles under warranty or not. If a repair is under warranty, the warranty company reimburses the dealership for the repair. We always want to help our customers, but we are required to follow GM policy regarding repairs and diagnostics. We hope that information helps.
