Waste of my time I brought my 2019 traverse in as the left tail light has condensation in it. When I checked in I was told this was most likely something GM would cove I brought my 2019 traverse in as the left tail light has condensation in it. When I checked in I was told this was most likely something GM would cover on my bumper to bumper. Being it was a warm sunny day there was little to no condensation in the tail light. Searching through my phone of a picture of how it looked on a bad day the service rep said he could see some condensation in there and that’s all he needed. After waiting almost 2 hours with my three year old. I come back to hear that GM says that there is an allowable amount of condensation. Well that may very well have been the case on that particular day but it is not the case all the time. After finding the picture and showing the representative I was basically told there was nothing I could do besides call GM myself or go back to Jim Trenary. Bottom line is I came to Jim Butler because you guys have always had great service in the past. This visit was far from great service and I can say I will not be back. More
Trip Trouble My friend and I were traveling from Belleville IL to Springfield MO when a message came on my car. I didn't know if it would be okay to travel further or not so we located a Chevy dealer so it could be analyzed and repaired. They had a rental car available for a good price. While still on our way to our destination I received a call that it was fixed. The next day on the way home we stopped and exchanged cars, the rental for mine. I had very good service from everyone involved, Doug at the service desk and Amanda with the rental car. I don't know who the mechanic was. More

I had to wait 5 days for my vehicle, dropped off on a Saturday morning, and didn't have it looked at until Monday morning. The communication could be better, I texted their special text line and never received a reply back on there. Not sure the point of it. The lady who handles rentals was rude and crackerboxed our family of 4 into a Malibu, when we dropped off a Traverse. I had a spinal fusion, 5 months pregnant and 2 kids... Our 5 days in the rental were physically painful for me. When we become a family of 5 next year, will they still shove us in a Malibu and have us illegally install our kids carseats? They parked my vehicle on the opposite side of the dealer lot, so it made unloading the rental vehicle a fun task. I was instructed to pull the rental into the service bay, and then I had to try to weasel my vehicle close by to transfer my kids carseats that they refused to assist with. I think one of the workers were frustrated with me, and she moved the rental, and handed me my items. I didnt get to double check the rental so hopefully I didn't leave anything behind. Would be nice if they had a special area for us to unload the rental car items into our vehicles. More

We were in the middle of the country when the check engine light came on and we received a message to take it in for emission systems service in seven We were in the middle of the country when the check engine light came on and we received a message to take it in for emission systems service in seven days. A day or two later the light went off and the car ran normally so we took it in when we got back. I emailed them my concerns that although the car was running normally, the error codes might still be in the computer and come out when I took it in for the next vehicle emissions inspection. I was contacted the next day to bring it in. The next morning I was met by Mike Johnson, who walked it through the service procedures which discovered that the codes were still in the system and that an upgrade that should have been downloaded from Chevrolet had not been installed. Everything was corrected and we couldn't be happier. We thank the dealership, all of the service team members and especially Mike Johnson for their professional abilities and dedication to their customers More
