Thank you for your feedback, Nicki. We understand your frustration that your tail light was not covered by GM. We had hoped it would be as well. When condensation presents in lights in Chevrolet's now, GM has repair shops put the vehicle in the sun for 4 hours. If the condensation dissipates through the vents in the lights, then the light is working as designed and does not need replacement. This is what happened with your vehicle, resulting in GM not authorizing repairs. If you are unhappy with this determination, please feel free to contact GM Customer Care at 1-800-222-1020 to dispute their findings. Unfortunately, as we are a GM Dealership, we must follow the rulings that they pass down. We hope your future visits with us are more pleasant.

Thank you for that information. With the VIN I was able to locate your records and correct Cavions to Cavion. After reviewing your records, I can try to help clear some of these issues up. As your Service Advisor mentioned to you at drop off, with the AC issue that you were experiencing, we needed a Journeyman technician to look at your vehicle. These mechanics are more highly trained than those who just do routine maintenance. Journeyman technicians are off on weekends per Union agreements, so there wasn't anyone here to look at the AC until Monday. The repair did take several hours to complete, and we worked as quickly as we could to get your vehicle repaired. With regard to your rental vehicle, we do apologize that you weren't put in a bigger vehicle. However, the extended warranty (that you did not purchase here) only covers $40/day rental, so putting you in a bigger vehicle would have been out of your pocket. Our records show that your Service Advisor did speak with Cavion more than once during the time we had your vehicle to follow up. In the future, please let us know if you want us to charge your for a bigger vehicle so we can be prepared. I did express at the time of rental, that I needed something bigger, and would have paid upgraded charge. The advisor dismissed my needs, after January I will need a Traverse atleast as a rental.
