Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand that the process for checking for an oil consumption problem can be frustrating. GM policy says that as long as your vehicle is not using more than 1 quart of oil per 1000 miles, consumption is normal. This is why we have to go through the process of checking multiple times to get a consistent reading on how much oil your vehicle is really using. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, Martin. We would like to clear up some confusion around your appointment. When scheduling you appointment, we let you know that your appointment time was to meet with your Service Advisor and not for immediate start of work. This was also reiterated in your confirmation emails. We understand that waiting is never fun, but we do have a delay before we are able to start on large repairs due to the busy season we are currently experiencing. Once our Journeyman technician was able to look at your truck, we did reprogram codes for the steering lock message/remote start not working, radio problems, HVAC controller calibration, honking after locking vehicle, "shift to park" message and clunking sound, as well as an oil change. After individually reprogramming and addressing these issues, your vehicle ran normally for our technician. If these problems are all back, we are concerned and certainly recommend bringing the vehicle back in so we can find out what the cause of the additional problems may be. If there were additional issues than the ones we listed, we are also happy to look at those. Unfortunately, we do not have your name to look in to this situation further and get more information. We can assure you that vehicles may have been moved before yours, but we honor appointment times. Other customers after you may have gotten services done that took less time, which got them out faster, but they were not started before you. We're very glad whoever made the key for you was able to help you in a positive and timely manner, though! We're confused as to why your appointment would have taken that long for the services that were performed. We certainly done want to keep our customers here any longer than absolutely necessary and we do apologize for the longer than usual wait time. The only situation that we can think of that would result in the paperwork already being at the cashier when you went to the desk is if your service advisor would have called you when your vehicle was ready but you were not within earshot for some reason (in the restroom or in another part of the dealership).
