Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Michael. We understand your frustration with the lack of communication regarding your vehicle being done. We agree that this is an issue and we attempted to make up for that by not charging your for the service. We also agree that the Special Coverage regarding your brakes should be extended to cover more mileage, but that is not our call. The window of time and mileage for Special Coverages are only determined by GM, and we are unable to change that. We have expressed our concern and frustration to GM and we have encouraged our customers to do so as well, in hopes that eventually the coverage will be extended. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Beth. We're sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your service experience. In your confirmation email, it should have stated that your appointment is to meet with a Service Advisor and not for immediate start of service. This is especially true if the work is a large or specialized job that requires the work be done by a Journeyman Technician. Bigger and more specialized jobs do take longer so there may be a delay for start of services on your vehicle, but with your vehicle here at the dealership, it ensures that you are in line to be worked on next, ahead of someone without an appointment or those that set appointments after you. We hope this clarifies your concerns and allows for better experiences going forward.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, Mary. We certainly want to clear up as much of the confusion as possible surrounding your experience. For the HAZMAT charge, it seems like there has been some misinformation given to you. The HAZMAT charge does have a cap at our dealership of $25. This fee covers things like the car wash coupons, disposal of oil, clips and caps that need replacing, etc. It is true that the fee is based on the cost of work being done. While the cap may be lower at other dealerships, they also wouldn't have the services that we do or, if they do, the cost is built into the price elsewhere. It is also true that other places charge this whether it is itemized out on an invoice or not for the customer. We do apologize that this was not disclosed to you at drop off. With regard to the MyRewards voucher, GM does dictate that the customer is required to bring in a printed voucher to the dealership, and that it cannot be printed by the dealership for security reasons. This is outlined in the Terms & Conditions that you accepted when signing up for MyRewards. This is a GM policy that we must obey on a dealership level. This is a rule that has recently changed at the dealership and it would appear that everyone at the dealership is not on the same page about this policy. We, again, apologize for the inconvenience that this brought to you. On all of these issues, we sincerely appreciate your feedback and have already started implementing more thorough training to accurately communicate these important factors to customers during their visits with us and at scheduling of appointments. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Mr. Ferris. We understand your frustration with the presence of rail dust on your truck. The warranty you purchased covers many other problems that your truck may experience in its life, but cosmetic issues are not one of them. Unfortunately, we do not have a full detail shop or claybar to get the rail dust off. We do provide a free car wash coupon with your service, but we agree that your truck needs to be claybarred to resolve the problem. Fortunately, claybar can be purchased at many local retailers for less than $10. We would be happy to send you a gift card to one of these retailers for you to purchase the claybar to get the rail dust off and wash your truck to your satisfaction.
