A wonderful relief The transmission broke on my vehicle. I was still under a power train warranty but that didn’t help my anxiety. I’ve had so many people tell me horror stories of their service centers getting around warranties, doing low quality work, and over charging a customer while they feel held hostage on a vehicle they need. Thankfully Doug and Jim Butler was the complete opposite. It took Doug 4 hours, but in that time they diagnosed my issue as well as another I didn’t know about, and worked with GM to make sure it all got covered under my warranty. Plus secured me a rental free of charge so I wouldn’t be stranded. Once the work was completed, there were no hidden charges, and no last minute changes than what I was told before. It was a large relief that the dealership I had to deal with was Jim Butler and not somewhere where I would have my own horror story. Thank you Doug, and thank you Jim Butler. More

Did good work but took 3 hours Took way too long. Advisor told me on phone it would take 1 hour. When I got to the dealer I was told it would be 2 hours. Also another customer, named Butler, was taken care of before me and they had someone ask if he wanted to check out while the advisor was at lunch. More

First oil change Was taken care of right away. The first oil change was complimentary. They service person looked at the car. Asked if I had any questions or concerns. Was taken care of right away. When it was done they came, took me to the cashier to get my keys and to check out. No charge! More
Warranty Repair work Well I've had to bring in the vehicle 2 times to get the correct repair done for hesitation when accelerating. Now even after the 2nd visit the problem appears to still be present. Not all the time but more than it should be. I enjoyed the customer service I received from Tim Summons at the check-in process but I kind of question the service technicians at this point. I don't understand why the issue remains. I will probably now consider taking this GMC vehicle to a different GM Certified dealer to have it repaired. I worked with Check-in dept, with car rental as well. I don't remember her name but she was super friendly as well. More

Jim Butler Chevrolet (JBC) stands by their work I had what looked like a blower motor that failed on my hvac system, and JBC diagnosed it as such. They replaced it, but found that it was inoperabl I had what looked like a blower motor that failed on my hvac system, and JBC diagnosed it as such. They replaced it, but found that it was inoperable when grounded, but operated when ungrounded. They did not charge for the new blower, and they sent it back to the warehouse even though they could have left it, and charged full price like we all know some shops will pull. They only did this after confirming that the old blower worked in like fashion. At this point, they discovered a faulty wire, so they replaced it. I recieved the truck (04 chevy colorado), and I used the heater for about a day until it failed again. Upon an additoonal inspection, JBC dug into the problem a little deeper to find and replace a faulty terminal. They stuck by their original diagnosis, and did not charge me the extra shop time, so I appreciate their integrity and honesty. More
